    Why have an app when you can’t use your rewards. I downloaded the app then tried to claim my 2 free donuts. When I tried to add them to the cart it said invalid then said store closed. I was seating in front the store and saw people inside at 6am) The store was open. Then I thought if I can’t pre order on the app maybe I can claim in person. I said I would like to claim my 2 free glazed donuts please. I passed my phone to scan the QR code. They said I have no points. I showed the app with the 2 donuts not points. All they could tell me was points no rewards. I asked them is there another way for me the claim these donuts. They said they don’t know how. It sounds like the stores are also not familiar to this new app. It needs to be fixed. If you can’t claim at least display a redeem code to enter.

  • A Service Fee with each order—forget it

    I was excited about this App, but my first order had a $0.75 service fee! Basically I was paying for another donut and other food Apps don’t include this fee, such as the Kolache Factory, therefore I killed my online order. Too bad, I’ve been a customer over 40 years and I be enjoyed rewards from other food Apps, but giving up on this one.

    What’s the point of launching a coupon rewards program which supposedly links to an app that you can’t use? I have emails without redemption codes. I have an app that shows me my coupons but when I go to buy some thing, I can’t actually use the coupons towards my purchases, and I’m prompted to enter a coupon code which doesn’t exist. this is infuriating and even in the store they were not able to honor my coupon. But they actually ended up doing was making me buy everything and then threw in an extra of the thing that I was supposed to get for free that they didn’t even register. I don’t think that’s the way it’s supposed to work and I certainly didn’t want an extra donut. I would address this comment directly with customer service but there’s no way to get in touch with anyone that I can see through the app. Probably not gonna go to Shipleys anymore because of this.

    I downloaded this app because of the free kolache with any purchase reward but never could get it to apply at over 15 stores in Houston, Lubbock, McAllen, or even in Louisiana. Now the same issue with the free Oreo donut with any purchase. I see the reward listed in my account, but when I go to checkout in the app or even in the store no one can make the reward work. It’s extremely frustrating especially since they email me reminding me to use the reward. Ugh! Zero stars since this is making me want to go elsewhere for donuts.

    I wanted to like the app since I love Shipleys, but they charge you like $2 every time you order with the app. What’s the advantage of using the app for the customer if you pay that every time???

    QR code was scanned, but points weren’t posted to account. Called customer service twice, they took my info, but points were never posted and there was no follow up.

  • Pricing problems and items

    I like the app except for a few things. The first thing is that when you order a dozen donuts, you can’t get it for the dozen donut price. It adds them up individually, which is not what would happen if you bought them at the store. The second things is that you can’t even order a donut bowls unless they are the specialty donut holes. I just want the regular kind. Lastly, you cannot use your rewards. When I apply it, it never applies to the order, no matter how much I try it. Other than that, it’s a great app!

    The app is great and easy to use. Unfortunately the execution of the order at the store level is not. Maybe a different location will bring better results.
