Its probably a great app, but I couldn’t even use the app on my phone because it keeps saying “fullscreen mode required, unable to use this on split screen mode”. Not even a full 5 minutes of me installing this app and I had to uninstall because the basic function wont work.

I love the app but on my 15 pro max, as I Zoom in the camera glitches between lenses and it then proceeds to not appear it show it zooming in anymore yet when I replay the video it DID in fact zoom actually all the way, please fix 🙌🏽 fun &!the biggest issue is when the app Goes unused for a even a day it RESETS ALL SETTINGS & Formats! Please fix asap

its a good app but why no pictures?

Just like iphone's standard camera app, it flips the preview horizontally so all text in frame is backwards so you can't read any signs or your own shirt while recording. It's absolutely insane that Apple refuses to make a setting to disable this.

Not getting consistent 120 FPS or 60fps. This is a big deal to not obtain a proper frame rate. White balance needs a tint option. Shutter and ISO should have separate dedicated buttons. Shutter needs 180 degree option. Can be in settings. Video Viewer needs a metadata view. To check file metadata such as frame rate, codec etc. Files are missing camera metadata such as lens info. Which is very surprising. No Camera Control is a surprising omission. No Control Center shortcut is a surprising omission as well.

I set up a static shot, hit record and made sure the time code was rolling. I moved to a new location, hit record again and looked for the time code. Every time I hit record it started recording and then I would stop the recording. I shoot from five different locations. When I looked for my footage nothing was there. I like the idea behind this app too bad it can’t live up to it.

I really like Final Cut Camera. It’s excellent for my workflow. I think this app is off to a great start, however, I wish it also had camera control functionality with the camera control button on iPhone 16 Pro. I would give the app 5 stars if it had that functionality!

Great idea for multi cam projects, but too frequently loses connection if cameras are not CLOSE. E.g. I could not shoot a volleyball game from mid—court and end line , but if cameras are close- works fine. Camera controls are intuitive and external storage works but only in ExFaT so format your drives first! I ended up not using Final Cut Pro for iPad multi-cam feature for sports, but did use Final Cut camera to shoot 4K 60 fps in ProRes and manually created a multi-cam edit in FCP. So this standalone app is fine for that, but unless your cameras are close- don’t bother shooting multi cam sports with FCP for iPad.
