Logic is a great software for MIDIs, and it works great on my tablet, which is my main editing tool. It works well all around, and is quite professional. Great job!

Update 2.2 completely removed all side chaining functionality from any non-apple plugins. Countless hours of mixing are now completely down the drain and I’ve never been more frustrated with a developer.

Maybe a regression testing issue on LogicPro iPad QA? There is no mention in the documentation of such major change and drawback. After the May 2025 update, the Side Chain input option disappeared from all my AUv3 plugins and now defaults to Side Chain OFF in ALL my previous saved projects! which is unacceptable. Works well in all other DAWs. In Logic Pro iPad, Side Chain now works only for built-in Apple Effects.

Update 2.2 broke the multi-out for AUv3 instruments. You can no longer run the multi-out version. Also update 2.2 broke the sidechain for AUv3 plugins. You can no longer select the source. This is a nightmare. Do you even test the app before release?

24 May 2025 Logic Pro for iPad has too many issues, flaws, and crash issues. Small list … (1) Like the MacOS version of Logic Pro X, this app should be pay once (if at all) and Apple and Timmy the Crook needs to stop extorting money from users when they have billions to support further development. (2) Frequent crashes especially with plugins (3) MIDI and Bluetooth issues (4) Does not play well with the MacOS version (5) v2.1 is better; but, still buggy and limited.
