I have been using Logic Pro for several years now. First on an older Mac Book that died by waterboarding and now on an M1 Mac Mini. Logic was simply intuitive. I can only say that it has been a blast to use and it has never failed me. It has made a path for my creativity and I love it.

The title says what I feel bout logic. Stem separation is blazingly fast and superb on most sources. Love the quantum and yardstick reverbs. This being said, I still struggle with automation and tempo track, but this is likely that I am uneducated in the proper methods. Cheers to the Logic team (and many off the OG e-magic team still around)

This DAW is amazing for beginners and Veterans! For the price you just cant go wrong here. I learned Logic as my first DAW and it was the easiest one to learn out of Pro Tools and Ableton as well! What's great is it sets you up for Professional Studio like enviroments and gives you all the tools nesscessary to make high quality music!

I switched over to Logic Pro from GarageBand a few days ago and it is great! More instruments, settings, and features. If you have $200 and you are using GarageBand, get Logic Pro. But only if you have the new Mac or iPad.
  • not user friendly too many bugs.

Ive been making electronic music since the early 1990's. I've used many DAW's. Even Logic in its infancy. My favorite was Sony Acid. That was a user friendly DAW. I've been using modern Logic for 5 years now....... I'm moving on. It just isn't user friendly. There are too many weird bugs. For example, not being able to align audio clips to exact timing in version 9 and 10.5 I mean, come on guys. Its a DAW. music is in time (hopefully)... who would ever want to import or paste a series of clips that are all slightly off time if you zoom in to the sample position? why should I have to manually align every clip? or use some special key command? Really? The number of hours I have spent (wasted) just doing alignments, which is something a DAW should do automatically, is reason alone to give up on Logic. its not the relative or absolute value thing... neither works... its a bug.You can't sell a DAW with alignment bugs. Totally not user friendly. Time waster. I'm joining the herd and checking out Abelton.
  • Amazing tools for limitless creativity.

It kind of boggles my mind that anyone could give this program less than five stars. Admittedly, I'm an old timer -- I've been using Logic since it was at v4 as an Emagic project back in 1999. Before that, I had 15 years with four-tracks and then, an old digital 8=track. That Logic is even possible blows my mind -- but that this much power is available for $200 is absurd. Sure, there's a lot of complexity -- but if you can write and record a good song with this program, it's not the program. Highly recommended.

I’ve used pretty much everything else on the planet and now that 11.1 is out I feel like Logic is a complete software. Compared to others, I love Logic because I can just start on a song without any thought to it and just kind of work off what it is: logic.
