Description

Apple Configurator makes it easy to deploy iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and Apple TV devices in your school or business. Use Apple Configurator to quickly configure large numbers of devices connected to your Mac via USB with the settings, apps, and data you specify for your students, employees, or customers. Apple Configurator features a flexible, device-centric design that enables you to configure one or dozens of devices quickly and easily. Simply select a single device or many at once and perform an action. With Apple Configurator, you're able to update software, install apps and configuration profiles, rename and change wallpaper on devices, export device information and documents, and much more. You can also inspect any device to see details like serial number and hardware addresses, which apps and profiles are installed, and its console log. Apple Configurator integrates with device enrollment and purchasing in Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager to seamlessly distribute apps from the App Store. The all-new Prepare assistant makes it easy to supervise and configure a cart of iPads for the classroom or quickly enroll a large number of devices in your MDM server for ongoing management. The built-in configuration profile editor supports creating and editing profiles with the latest iOS settings. If you’re configuring devices in an environment where consistency is critical, Blueprints allow you to create a custom configuration for your devices that can be applied with one click. A Blueprint is a template device to which you add configuration profiles and apps and perform actions, just like you would to a connected physical device. Fully automate Apple Configurator and integrate its capabilities into your existing device management workflows using the included command-line tool, AppleScript scripting library, or Automator Actions. Support for iCloud Drive enables you to keep your configuration profiles and other settings consistent across multiple Configurator stations.

First install, some 404 error, restart app, then showing apps, then after some time close/start app again - showing: no installed apps… No Purchased apps… really like a alpha version of the app.

Don't waste your time! Just messed up my iPhone screen even more. The iPhone 16 screen is so sensitive that even in your pocket it will go on and then delete and move apps from the home screen. And then good luck getting anything back to where it belonged Tried this app. Absolute disaster. Don't bother. I wish Apple would stop messing with things that worked. Back in iTunes, you could easily drag and move things where you wanted. Now the iOS thinks it is smarter than you, and overrides everything you do. Hate it!

Since updating to MacOS 15, the application constantly hangs when trying to restore more than 1 device at a time. Single phone seems to work ok, but 2+ results in a hung application that requires Force Quit and getting the phones back into DFU mode. What’s more, sometimes it’ll restore 1-2 phones when the rest hang. App last updated 11 months ago…
  • App Needs SUPPORT

App Needs support, I am running latest MacBook OS: 15.0.1 (24A348). When I am updating either (1) or more iOS devices on the app, the app will freeze and not move forward. The app will download the latest iOS version for the devices (Max 8 devices) that I have connected to the MacBook, unzip it, then start installing but it will freeze/crash and not move forward once the progress bar reaches more/less 45% on the screen and on the iOS devices. Which then causes me to hard quit the app on the MacBook and manually hard restart the iOS devices multiple times because it takes multiple times to get the app to work and complete the iOS update process. PLEASE HELP.
  • You can rearrange apps, but...

Klunky, in the sense that moving apps to between other apps, and not having them grouped, is often a pain. Also, no "Apple Z" to reverse what you inadvertanty did, so when you do drop an app into another, you don't always know exactly where it went! This idea worked better in iTunes way back when.
  • Essential for my Mac Pro cleaning

This is 'the app' that I can use to unlock the security chip and reinstall MacOS on my MacPro. Very important.

It's got to be the worst app I have ever used with (or bettter said tried to use). All I wanted to do is to rearange icons on my iphone like I used to be able to do through iTunes. Why itunes function was removed beats me. This app puports to do the task I wanted to use it for. I tried numerous times to do just that in vain. First try to even find the rearranent function in this app. Well hidden, took me a while to find it. Then I spend nearly half an hour rearranging my icons and theh I clicked "apply". Reoppened my phone and nada, abslolutely no chnage, I repeated the task 2 more time with the same result. What an utter waste of time. Don't bother with it. Save yourself time and frustration.

I wanted to use my home screen with this app. Simplest of tasks had to be done many many times because it's so buggy. Finally resorted to doing it directly on phone. How can a software like this can possbily be released? Somebody is asleep on the wheel.
  • Terrible Software

I've never been so upset and frustrated using any piece of software in my entire life. The developers who put the app together did not care one bit about the functionality of this app.
  • It works but it's very clumsy

I ended up going back to the iPhone itself to edit my home screen. This app had no undo for the times something jumped to a spot that I didn't intend for it. Apps seemed to disappear at times too.
