Needs to be more straight forward. I have to sift through so much to get to see tickets, park reservations etc.
  • Being a pass holder

I have been a pass holder for many years and at one time I thought it was worth the expense. Now I am not so sure. I have health problems and I have to see on a day to day basis if I am even able to go to Disneyland Parks by the amount of pain I am in the day before. This is what my life is like now and I accept this and try to function through it. I went to Disneyland with some friends on Halloween. I was blocked out but the day before it opened up and I was able to go. I noticed there were weeks open and both parks were available in November and December so I wasn’t too concerned about getting reservations. Unfortunately, the second week of November all the days were taken in November and all of December were also gone. Two full months my pass would be worthless and I couldn’t go because of the reservation system. I knew this because some friends asked if I wanted to go during the second week of November and every day was gone. Normally, this would not have bothered me except I checked on buying a ticket and I could get into the park for the lowest price ticket of $104.00 because it was not that busy in the parks that day. This upset me because as a pass holder why was I being blocked out of the park? I called and this is what Disney had to say: There are only so many reservations reserved for pass holders and once they are gone they are gone unless someone cancels at the last minute. Therefore if there are not many people in the park, they will only allow someone in who will buy a ticket. Even if it is a slow day. I was also told if I bought a more expensive season pass or plan my trips earlier I could easily get in the park when I wanted to. If it was a day that was open for me to go. This makes it all my fault and tells me they don’t care. I think this will be my last year as a pass holder. It is cheaper to buy a ticket most days that would allow me to go to the park five times and actually be able to get in when I want. Disney isn’t magical anymore.

My wife and I - both in our late 60’s - are having a great time. Spent the afternoon at California Adventure, the night at the Grand Californian Hotel and today we are headed to Disneyland!! We feel like kids again. The service is awesome - can’t wait for the day.

As a 68 year old grandmother trying to take kids to DL, I don’t need this added stress. Why make this so crazy. I do not want to deal with reading glasses, a phone and an app. I have enough anxiety to take kids alone to a theme park. I have enjoyed DL and DW for 60 years. Probably my last after negotiating all this crapola.
  • Bad experience

I spent 2.5 hours just getting tickets. After buying there was no prompt for the app which made me spend another hour figuring that out. I had to walk into the hotel to have someone show me how to navigate it all as App is not intuitive. I bought lightening pass and there are 5 clicks on my page to use it that timed out making it unusable several times (I took screen shots) meanwhile the whole day is dependent on my battery life of my phone which is nearly gone because I spent 3 hours getting tickets and apps. Not worth the $$$. The elderly in my group couldn’t navigate it at all. I’d like a refund of something it was that bad.

Two hours on this stupid app and I still can’t get my kids ticket to link. Horrible service and the park opens in a few hours.
