  • Navigating the ship app

The app isn’t the easiest to navigate. Perhaps a guide to assist on how to use the app or a guide on the ships tv to assist you PRIOR TO ARRIVAL!!! (At least a sample one as itinerary changes with the key services of the days main events)

I would say they should give better instructions how to connect to the guest WiFi. To use the app. And make it so that everyone connected to the party can automatically chat with each other. Took the first day figuring out chat IDs
  • Very informative.

In general the app is really helpful for finding information and planning activities. However it has bugs. 1. When my device was connected to the DCL network, the app was saying it wasn’t connected. 2. The chat portion wasn’t reliable for our party. It would be rated higher in my opinion if the chat portion worked better. One improvement would be to show the chat id number in addition to the name of the person in your group.

It would be nice to be able to see where the ship is. A live map of our location! It would also be nice to be able to see the current temperature of the location we are at.

My family and I have sailed many times on Disney (and other lines) … Our recent trip on the Disney Fantasy had by far the greatest staff we’ve ever experienced ❤️

We had the absolute best time! My only wish is to have a Starbucks on board. Everything else was perfect!! My favorite thing was the private islands.

At it’s core, the app is alright. Regarding plans it does what it needs to do and after figuring out the non-friendly user UI, makes iffy sense. My problem is THE MESSENGER. On a boat, it’s easy to get lost or not be able to communicate with people. Sometimes the app decides to fail on you, and it won’t deliver your message to the person you want no matter what. It can’t be fixed, and there is very little you can do about it besides messaging a group chat. But I don’t want to message a group chat, i want my message to be private and confidential, but that’s too much to ask for. Because of Disney’s horrible messaging service I lost connection to friends whom I was going to get contacts with on the last day, I was never able to do that, and I never got closure. It’s a feeling that drags with you indefinitely, at least until you can get over it. I really wish I could rate this app better, because at it’s core you can see everything it wants to accomplish, and i wish that the messenger worked..

The app was super helpful while onboard but sometimes the messages did not go through when they were sent which wasn’t very helpful but everything else from the messages 15 minutes before events, To be able to message made the cruise easier.
