  • Chat needs work

On our most recent sailing on the Dream, we experienced a lot of problems with chat messages not being delivered reliably. That caused trouble coordinating activities with our family.
  • Fantasy DCL App Feedback

Just got off a six day cruise on the Fantasy. I was very disappointed with the DCL app. We had connectivity issues on the ship all week and couldn’t reach family members via the chat function while we were on the islands. When the messages did go through they were hours late. The app did work fine for the activity schedule but if you expect your guests to use this app and be satisfied with it you have a lot of work to do. WDW killed the guest experience when they forced us to use My Disney Experience to do everything. That app is difficult to use too. I hope DCL limits the offerings on their app. If you have plans to expand it, then you better make some infrastructure improvements so that guests aren’t frustrated and then make choices to sail with someone else.
  • Gym

It would be nice if free weights were in front of the mirrors; all gyms have it that way👍😇 also I noticed people coming in and not knowing how to use machines; someone could possibly be watching for them and introducing them to how to use them correctly. Otherwise; loved the workout facility AND the entire cruise and staff! Love it and thank you much👍😇
  • Phone

The only downfall is that EVERYTHING is tied to the phone. If you want to go without it, things are a bit of a challenge.
  • Nice idea but quirky

It didn’t make a loud enough notification when we texted. I kept getting kicked off of the service for extended periods of time which inhibited me from using the app at all and definitely kept me from communicating with my family when needed. Love the concept tho!
  • Difficult to use and unreliable

The app was unreliable, particularly using the chat. This may have been a product of the lack of WiFi capacity. On board activities only brought up the adult activities such as tastings but you had to navigate to a different location to get all of the activities. This is counter intuitive and makes finding the kids’ activities hard to find.
  • App is bad, but we have no other options :(

Disney, this app does not work well. The messaging is almost unusable which is hard when you’re in the middle of the ocean and have no cell service and need to find your family.
  • Disappointed

The app constantly had the wrong times for food and the incorrect menus for the restaurants. The deck plans never loaded during our cruise.

But they need to come up with a better plan to control de traffic of people bumping to each other at the market(buffet) Maybe a color code getting the food and another color to gone back to your table! Also your cleaning crew needs to be more alert when they see a table set up with the silverware and 3 not open new lattes before throwing it in the garbage, I left my table set up and proceed to grab my breakfast to my surprise I home back to an empty table with my 3 lattes gone ($4.75 reach) Overall all was well!
