King County Metro Flex is an on-demand neighborhood transit service. Use your phone to ride anywhere in your service area for the same cost as a bus trip. HOW IT WORKS: - Download the app and create an account. - Book an on-demand ride on your phone. - Meet your driver on a nearby corner. CONVENIENT Use your phone to tell Metro Flex where you are and where you want to go. You’ll receive a nearby pick-up location for a Metro Flex vehicle only a short walk away. FAST It just takes a minute to book your ride! The app will send you an approximate arrival time for your Metro Flex vehicle. AFFORDABLE Metro Flex costs the same as a Metro bus trip. And with your ORCA card, you can transfer for free to or from a bus or Sound Transit Link light rail. You can also pay with a Transit GO Ticket or credit/debit card. Youth up to age 18 ride free.   • ISSUES WITH THE WAIT TIME ON THE APP

    I just want to say that this service has been beneficial to me in terms of saving money at the trade off of potentially waiting 30min to an hour just so I can get a about a 7-10 minute drive to work or home. However whenever I see that a driver is 5 minutes away I immediately assume that it’s going to take 5 minutes for them to get to my pick up location but instead it turns into another 30min wait despite them being so close. I spoke with one of the drivers recently and apparently this has been an ongoing issue. The app doesn’t take into account that the driver may have an emergency whether it’s being stuck in traffic or needing to use the bathroom. I think drivers should have the option of updating the wait time if something unexpected is happening and save the headache of customers expecting their ride to arrive at the pickup location in a few minutes. Before I end this review, another pet peeve I have is being told to take the bus and I wish it showed me where the bus is on the map and where it’s coming from! I really REALLY want this Service to work and has so much potential.

    So when it does work it’s great gets me to where I’m going faster but lately at anytime I use it doesn’t matter if it’s early in the morning or 3 in the after noon I’m always told to take the bus and if I was trying to take a bus I wouldn’t be using this stupid app and then the times I do get a ride I’m waiting 40min to an hour and I even get drivers who are supposedly on break. Why am I getting drivers who are on break makes no sense this app is garbage sometimes just sometimes

    I am not able to see all the information on the app, including how soon my driver arrives and his contact info. The screen zooms in and blocks half the text.

    It’s 2pm on a Sunday and I just tried to request a ride within Issaquah boundaries. Had a pop up saying I was requesting outside if working hours. Why have that message show up when its in the middle of the day on a weekend when your error massage says weekends 7am-7pm is within working hours

    Today my friend called for us, and the ride with in 10 minutes! Was amazingly easy and nice. I’ll have to check with her on the number she called because last week I called repeatedly and it said riders or busy. I’m thinking I might have the wrong number.😒

    They should really hire more drivers because I’m sick of waiting 30+ minutes almost everytime I book one. And everytime I call the driver, they don’t pick up.
