Tab Switcher is extremely helpful. It provides a perfect vertical tab list in the main menu bar, something so useful if you're prone to opening multiple windows with dozens of tabs each. This app provides a good, working alternative to the missing vertical tabs UI in Safari (which will probably never appear). The listing of MULTIPLE WINDOWS makes this tab switcher extra great, and it works flawlessly for me so not sure why there are those negative reviews. In addition to this app, I also use an app called "Tab Space" as my Safari session manager, and another called "Tab Suspender" so Safari will no longer grind my new M1 to a halt so many open tabs. All 3 apps combined transform Safari from being a poor, painful, RAM-sucking browser to one that's now very functional and actually usable.
  • Random behavior with Safari continues

Update: 14 jan 2021 The developer suggested (again) updating to the latest version. Problem still persists: about 1/3-1/2 of the time, the wrong tab/window is selected. As reported 2 years ago by others (and as I've experienced for the past year), this app behaves randomly. Sometimes when a tab is selected, it will activate the correct tab; sometimes it will activate a different tab; sometimes it will do nothing; sometimes it will crash. Reports to the seemingly helpful developer are met with promises to address the problems. But nothing ever changes. I'm left with the impression that this application probably works fine if you have a few Safari windows with a few tabs, but if you have dozens of windows open with dozens of tabs in each window (i.e., you're someone who really needs this application), then it fails miserably.
  • Great app - but could be a bit better

Really like this app and upgrading to the “Pro” version is very worth it, as the free version only shows the first five tabs in your Safari windows. The only thing so far that I wish it could do that it can’t (and is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars), is let you name the “Safari” window groups with a name of your choice (currently they all have names of “Safari" — not much of a hint) — that way it would help a lot in keeping things organized and know which tab is located in which window - although it does let you search). I oftentimes have a dozen or more Safari windows with each one having up to 20-30 taba and this sort of capability would really help me keep things organized. Plus a way to specify the ordering of the windows but both name and age (e.g. oldest first or newest first) would also be very helpful. Highly recommended!!!

Really useful for a browser power-user, who opens up tons of tabs, and wants to open up a specific tab. The search feature is pretty neat as well :)
  • Too Cumbersome & Cluttered... & Pop-ups!

I have been desperately searching for something that will just let me know all the tabs that I have open. Most browsers have a setting that will give you a list, but not Safari. This app I had high hopes for, but when I installed it, I saw how jangled it up, breaking all the tabs into windows, for one, and then adding two unneccessary extra lines to every single window! One, suggestng I buy the pro version (which their listing gives me no helpful information about, and the other says something about "if you already own it, then restore purchase". REALLY? In every single window? It makes for a ridiculous mish-mosh of a list, and it's much easier just scrolling through all my windows manually, than this mess. And on top of everything, as I was looking at what the extra lines said, I must've accidentally touched the "restore purchases" and a pop-up for "xvideos.com" appeared!! And of course, it won't let me delete it, as it sits in the middle of my screen. This was a real mistake....
  • This app has potential, but it’s not there yet

This app has some potential, but it’s not there yet. Pros: • The app lets you interact with tabs in Safari or Chrome. • It’s nice that you can filter your list of tabs. Cons: • The app takes over the Cmd Enter keyboard shortcut, which is especially inconvenient since Cmd Enter is the existing keyboard shortcut within Tweetbot to send the current tweet. And Cmd Enter is also the existing keyboard shortcut within countless email clients to send the current email. And Cmd Enter is also the keyboard shortcut within word to insert a page break. (Honestly, I can hardly think of a worse keyboard shortcut.) • It’s really slow to scroll through the list of open tabs if you have a few hundred tabs open. (I have about 700 tabs open in Safari—yeah, my bad, I know—and the scrolling in Tab Switcher’s dropdown is as slow as molasses. • If you have a few hundred tabs open, there’s effectively no way to enter the app’s preferences or quit the app since those options are at the very bottom of the app’s dropdown, and to get to the bottom of the list, you have to scroll past all your open tabs. And when you have 700 tabs open, and when the app is suuuper slow to scroll when you have that many tabs open, it’s essentially impossible to get to the bottom of the app’s dropdown. • I like that you can filter your list of tabs, but there’s no easy way to, say, close all tabs from Google. Ideally, I'd be able to enter “Google” in the search bar and then click on a “x” icon next to each tab in the list to close it. But there’s no such “x” when you hover over each tab. Rather, you have to go to that individual tab’s submenu and choose close—and then you have to do that over and over for every tab in the results list. • And lastly, just as a minor thing, it could be nice if Tab Switcher’s dropdown were to show the URL for each tab (in addition to the tab’s title). That could make it a bit easier to remember which tabs are which in case it may have been a while since you last visited a tab (or in case you’re a doofus like me who has 700 open tabs in Safari).
  • Decent app

The app is decent. I think the appearance could be sleeker. Specially if you make the popup a bit larger to account for longer website names and remove the |> at the end to make it look cleaner. Another possible improvement is to implement a CMD-TAB like release skim for even quicker app switch. I would have paid for this if it was accessible for Vivaldi, which is my go to app.

  • a large bug with window fetching

Lists all tabs in all windows, but when I click on a window, sometimes a completely different one comes up, and the window I wanted temprorarily becomes unlocatable - a big bug. Can you fix? Seems fundamental to the app
