Feature Request: Please allow users to also specify the HTTP method / parameters used to fetch the web page. So, something like a POST request for a given URL with so and so params.

I don't know, I LOVE THIS APP. It is exactly what I needed. Ya the memory leaks issue can be a problem, but if you control your system resources you will minimize the leaks. This app is genius literally alerts you in real time of any website changes and shows you the before and after photos of the changes. Keep going with this, it is a great idea. Once the memory leak issue is fixed, it will be pretty solid.
  • Bad memory leak still exists

I saw the reviews about a memory leak and thought by now it had been fixed. But, as of 12/8/2020, it still exists! After a few days of running it is at 9GB of memory. Had to kill it and restart.
  • Works great, but...

Has a really bad memory leak and will eventually consume all memory. Fine if you restart it every day or something but developer really needs to fix that.
  • Maybe a small fix will mean I didn't waste my money

OK. I really felt frustrated and ripped off but I took a moment to look at the website and calm myself. It's a difficult time. It would be really helpful to be able to: 1) see "Updated" and "Previous" side by side, as opposed to being in two different views, and/or 2 Provide a colored DIFF of the "Text Selection" view, so that one can see what exactly changed. For me, I was just shown the broad grid of prices/etc. and it took a while to track down that "Jun 24" changed to "Jun 25". Also, half the pages I try creates some errors and don't submit. Also, I was given a notice that the browser is no longer supported on a website that listed SAFARI as a supported browser so I wonder what browser APK is being used. So, please and thank you. #2 would be very helpful.

  • App is useless. Makes itself active and restarts every 10 seconds

I used this app a few times and it seemed to work fir a few scenarios and not so well in a few other. It has its quirks, but I was eventually able to get it to successfully monitor changes to a site after some trial and error. After Web Alert was updated to v2.5.0, I launch the app and try to do anything with it and the app abruptly shuts down and restarts. It does this over and over about every 10 seconds until the app is forced quit. I am running the most recent OS update to Mojave (Mac OS 10.14.6).
  • Huge memory leaks!

This app has major memory leaks. I monitor about 40 web pages and after 6 hours, the app memory usage is anywhere from 6GB to 21GB. Have to force quit the app and restart or my system is very sluggish. Wrote developer, initially responsive, then went quiet. Don't waste your money unless you are monitoring 1 website and even then, it will leak enough memory to make your system unresponsive eventually.
