    Spent $9.99 to see the application not working over a zip that can't be opened with an important app in it. The app is only 37.7MB! I would really appreciate any help on that. Thank you.

    The Zip Repair seemed to work but the file inside is still damaged. 4 stars because I'm not sure if this was because this program didn't do it's job or if that's another issue entirely.

    I had a large (2.3 GB) zip file that would not uncompress for me. I was not able to use ZipDoctor to fix the file, but I contacted the developer (Alexandru) and he was able to fix it for me. So great support! I am so thankful to have access to these files again!

    $20 down the drain. There is no file inside of the supposedly repaired zip file. The original file is almost a gig in size.

    Had a 7 gig zip file of photos that when unzipped showed only a single 1.2mb image. Hesitated at price for this software but went ahead after reading other reviews. Sure enough, ZipDoctor ran a repair and unzipped the archive and all the images appeared. If everything in life worked this well!

    I’m a developer myself, and have an app that is occasionally producing bad zip files. This developer has been very responsive to my questions. As a developer I know how time-consuming support can be, and I appreciate the time and trouble this developer takes to help customers. Yes, this app is not $1 - and that’s good - it means the developer can afford to put the time in to make it a good app and to provide good support.

    My name is CN Riley, I live in Chicago, I’m Director of Client Services for Workstone LLC, and I do not personally know the developer, Alexandru Denk. In early December 2015, I purchased ZipDoctor to try to recover a zip file containing about 200 raw (original, hi-res) photos from my wedding in May. It didn’t work, so I used the support email address that popped up and contacted Alexandru. He responded the same day. I sent him my 1.6 GB zip file over Dropbox, and on the next business day, he returned it to me repaired. He said that he’ll update the app to account for the unusual type of damage that had occurred to my zip file, and he thanked me for helping him to improve his app. Long story short, Alexandru recovered my wedding photos, and in the process, he proved himself to be trustworthy, responsive and capable. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Alexandru and all of his apps. (Thanks again, Alexandru!)
