    My entire libraray had duplicates (more than 3,000 dupe songs). The app identified approx 300. Not happy with this app. I paid the $4.99 to have unlimited dupes and it still didn't work.

    The first thing it asks is permission to access all files in home folder, which doesn't make sense to me and I could not give access to that. I would appreciate if they allow to select custom folder to access and do it's job there. I had to uninstall this app since I could not use it. I gave 3 star becase I do not want to reduct the rating for the app for no reason.

    This app didn't work. Instead of just deleting duplicates, it deleted every single file! Fortunately, I had a cloud backup -- but I definitely would not recommend this app.

    I work with music files everyday and for years had neglected to weed out duplicates from iTunes. In my version of iTunes there is no option for Find Duplicates as in older versions. So I decided to try TunesMechanic and am I ever happy I did. It removed thousands of duplicates right out of the box freeing up space on my hard drive and lightening the load on my MacBook Pro. I must admit I was a little scared at first as the tiny ball kept spinning and the computer heated up. iTunes was drawing 97% of the CPU’s. I decided to shut down the computer for awhile so I quit TunesMechanic and shut down. I thought I might be in for trouble for doing that, but when I started back up later and opened TunesMechanic it started off right where it left off and finished the job. It’s a great program and very easy to use. Very happy to have it, and, at 5 bucks, you can’t help but give it a try. The negative ratings here should be taken with a grain of salt! Computer problems usually come with layers of other reasons for their occurrence.

    I ran to fix error and old links, extensions and files. It couldn't find anyting. I opened and ran to find and fix duplicates in my itunes library and it ran for three days... So I never got it to work.

    this has been pretty much, the first help ive found, that doenst want to snag one into a subscription. and Iam extremly frustrated with the Music app, as all I have done is make it worse. The instructions are simple, maybeeee too simple, for at least me, but thats my frustration , no fault of this. iam stuck on figuring out "selecting items" (toons tools) before I chose "run" I know this app works, Iam just "getting it"
