Description

---------- Apple iOS 9 Beta Notice (7/3) ---------- This is an important notice for players of SQUARE ENIX games on the iOS platform.   Apple has officially announced the release of its iOS 9 Beta.   However, since our apps are not compatible with the iOS 9 Beta at this time, we regret we are unable to provide customer support for any trouble arising from installation of this OS (including, but not limited to, data recovery or undelivered in-game currencies). ======================================= ・In the free version, you can play on the "Shell Isle" map! ・More than 11 other maps are available via DLC! ・Screen alignment can be vertical or horizontal. See and play the game the way you like! ======================================= "FORTUNE STREET SMART" is a board game that is played using dice. The rules of the game are very simple. The player who makes the most money, wins. Players can make money by buying shops and expanding them, or buy and sell stocks wisely and hope that you'll hit it big. The deep, strategic gameplay is highly addictive, and provides for hours of entertainment! Basic Rules 1. Roll the die. 2. Buy shops that you land on, and receive money from other players who subsequently "visit." 3. Collect the four suits (spade, etc.) on the game board, and receive a "salary." 4. "Invest" in your shops to make them bigger! 5. Buy all the shops in given area of the map to "dominate" that area! 6. Looking to get rich quick? Learn how to buy and sell stocks in the game! ====================================== ■Reception in Japan Since it was first released in 1991, FORTUNE STREET has been a staple of the board game genre in Japan, and now boasts over nine incarnations. Designed by Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii, FORTUNE STREET enjoys a strong following among Japanese users. The key to success in this game is to observe your opponents' moves carefully, and use them as a guide to formulate your own game strategy! ■Free Version You can download the free version for free, and play the game on the "Shell Isle" map unlimited times. The Free version also has a built-in tutorial that will teach new players, step-by-step, how to play the game. ■About the Full Version Full version $4.99 Maps: 5 total Moon City, Antarctica, Cloverland, Hemisphere *Shell Isle will still be available in the full version. • Great game but flawed.

Very fun game just like the WII version…. But it has its issues. I don’t think the NPC’s will accept any amount of cash to sell their shops and it would help if the challenges had a description of what you need to do to beat them.
  • Offensive

This is the first game I ever felt was bad enough to offend me. After the amazing console versions, the makers of this game should be ashamed. Just awful. I hope someone will make an alternative clone that’s actually playable. I get so frustrated trying to squeeze enjoyment out of this mess.

I waited 2 years for someone on gamefaqs to figure out and post this as the game gave no explanation on how to win the Panda Award. Just gotta win with a zoo that has been invested in fully so that is shows the icon of a “PANDA”! Sharing this for all the other stuck Fortune/Itadaki Street fans.
  • No panda award info

Like many people I loved the version on wii. So after playing the demo map, I figured that I could just buy the game. Little did they say you pay $4.99 and then you would have to pay $2.99 for the DLC’s and you don’t even get any new maps or characters to play against.
  • Remake!!

Guys! Love the app version of the cool wii game, but it lack value for me since there is no multiplayer feature.😢
  • Horrendously out-of-date visuals

The fonts and font sizes are all super-weird for English. I can see that style working for Japanese, but people who read the Latin alphabet have to make too many mental adjustments between fonts and font sizes.
  • Not the same as the Wii version, BUT....

Although it lacks the character from the Wii version, it certainly has more or less the same gameplay. If you’re a fan of the gameplay itself, I’d say it’s definitely worth it. If you’re unsure, just download it and try the trial board out! 💗 And it surprisingly works well on even the latest firmware and models! Do wish Square-Enix would allow the devs to create DLC for this, though... even more boards and maybe some added similarity (or even better than) the Wii version. iPhones can certainly more than handle the upgrades! (Even if they’re graphical!)
