  • Can’t Skip Cut Scenes

    I picked this up after beating the first Octopath game. While playing that, I could hold a button to skip any scene if I was bored or impatient. It is absurd to me that I can't do that in this game, and I'm instead forced to basically just put my phone down and come back later. I prefer the combat to the seemingly endless talking, I fear I'll burn out before I get to really experience the game.

    It is impossible to register with bridge. I tried 3 different accounts and it said that there was a device already with that account. Why does this matter is there no possible way to play with the same account? This is mind blowing . I wanted to try this game but man I am not going to try it since I tried like an hour to make this work.

    I’m usually not a fan of gacha games for a number of reasons, but octopath cotc is a free to play game that may as well be a free console game as everything can be beaten fairly without spending a dime. The graphics are beautiful as all hd-2d and the story is engaging, leading me to spending just to support the team. For those worried, this game doesn’t lock anything important behind limited time events and has hours worth of play. While not a game to play casually, it is sure to help pass those long hours when you have nothing to do and only have your phone in hand. Great job, dev team!

    This game is way too easy, and there is never anything to do. As the greatest gamer and reviewer in the world, I give this game a very low score of one star. Please make game harder, with more stuff to do if you want a better rating.

    The development team is holding us hostage with the threat of Ending Service. EOS means the game will be removed from the App Store and players will lose all access to free and paid content.

    Graphics incredible, music incredible, but I guess this is what you get when you combine modern popular gaming mechanics (gambling and addiction) with auto-play, auto-story telling, auto-walking, auto anything else? You tell me. Makes me curious to what the original gamebib I had to stop. Couldn’t take it anymore. What bothers me the most is that you have three characters added to the party out of nowhere….i feel like this game was made for 6 year olds to get them sucked into the RPG genre. It’s like Guild Wars 2 PvP it’s all just given to you for no reason except to make things more equal and that makes it very boring. The whole point of an rpg As Octo quickly tries to get you forced into the story, maybe because attention spans are so low these days? The automatic stuff is contradictory to the whole RPG genre. There are already too many automatic and assumed mechanics-we don’t need more. Just don’t feel it. Maybe I missed some story line? But I feel like this is just a game for kids or be
