    can not handle multiple dektops on mac. Can not quit in a graceful manner. raw. Needs lots of work. Practically unusable. Gives error when using "select app window to capture" - nothing. not working at all. gives error

    I have a nice USB camera for my microscope. I needed a capture app because the one with the camera isn't very good. I could have used Quicktime, but I saw that this app has time lapse feature when you pay. I paid and it is all working fine. I can time lapse many hour of pond life for my youtube projects The one thing I would REALLY like to see is a live "zoom" feature where you can pinch zoom from the trackpad. This would be very handy for me as I could pinch zoom closer to a protist and then pinch zoom out. If developer sees this, is there any way you might add this feature?

    I can record just fine with my Camera however, I can’t hear anything until I Finish Recording! It would be nice if this app had a Feature where you can hear the sound before you Record too. Got to be a Missing Feature.

    Don’t get this if you want to capture streaming video with audio on your mac. It seems to require taking the audio out from the only audio connection out of the mac and then returning it through the same connector. The descriptions in the App Store are misleading. It may work fine with other equipment but my Macbook Pro can’t use it.

    This app is nice and works well. However, it has been severly crippled as compared to the free non-commercial version available for Windows and the fully purchased version. Specifically, you can’t schedule recordings, perform time-lapse recordings, watermark, or share videos with built-in sharing. You also will only be limited to the MOV container format with H264 or MP4 encoding. MP4, ogg, wmv, avi and a few others are unavailable in the free version and no output presets are available as well. Note that the version from the NCH Website is a demo and this free version has a different name. Iff you have installed both and are prompted to purchase a license when you try to record, make sure you’re running the correct version.

    My application of Debut, downloaded from the App Store, points to my conclusions after 2 hours trying to get the app to work. My question is, "Does it or Does it Not Work”. I was unable to get the download of Debut to do anything but have a pop-up stating, "Re-enter”. Oh well another Uh of the Universe. Sadly, In the trash it goes…two hours of time spent is enough. I’m sure it does work but how?

    I have a old sony digital 8 camera and been looking for a way to get the videos into the computer because the new iMovie won’t work anymore, and stumbled across this app and it worked, video and sound. so until something goes wrong ill use it and maybe upgrade, but if something does go wrong ill let everyone know.
