  • Too many deficiencies

Moving around was too difficult and the number one feature I was looking for (ability to type in a dimension such as wall length was not available. Too difficult to use to be useful.

I acquired the free version to try it out and found it very difficult to use. Being somewhat naive, I think, I paid the $39.99 for the full version and there was no improvement and it simply go worse from there. 1. The user interface in non intuitive and very difficult to use. 2. A number of bugs e.g. colors do not work (brown is orange, orange is yellow etc.). A deck object I had drawn suddenly was only recognised as stairs, stairs would not attach to deck objects no what I did to the riser/trad combination (simple geometry showed it should have worked), deck to deck stair transitions would not work no matter what I did. 3. Selection of objects is very hit and miss. 4. Very small dimenstions when drawing objects. 5. Stairs vanished from the 2D view with no obvious way to get them back. 6. Help is next to useless. etc. etc. I would not recommend this to anyone. After 6 hours of struggling I gave up. Note that I am a porfessional computer user who uses a lot of different software applications every day: everything from Photoshop, Lightroom, Office suites, VS Studio etc. and writes and design software for a living.
  • Not useful for detailed planning

Conceptually, it's a good start, but there are many interface lapses, that may be overcome by paid version, but should be basic: - ability to easily establish a zero point for plan - ability to define or edit the length of a wall by other than dragging a connected wall, then reselecting to check resulting length - ability to set a blank background for starting plan Attempting to establish a basic, known floor plan outline, I couldn't create or define the known dimensions even after numerous select/drag/re-seleect/check/select/drag efforts. At that point I gave up and unisntalled the app. Not worth the effort for even a free app.

Plan on paying 35 dollars more to get anything useful, was looking for landscape design, has no plants or way to draw in a bed.

Very Crude but useful enough to give a rendering of ideas. Reminds me of my kids Simms games more than CAD designing.
