    There was an update for Wavepad Masters Edition for Macbook Pro, but it's stuck in the "waiting" mode. So now I can't use the app. I like it, but this update is not working!

    I purchased Masters Edition specifically for editing audio files and saving them as MP3s to be used for ZOOM Church servics. Every time I perform the File Save As step the application crashes and I have to go through several steps to restart it. I have repeated reported the issue to NCH Software with no resolution.

    I have used wavepad for years, and have been overall satisfied… until now. After this most recent OS update, the entire program stopped working. I can’t even open it!!! Get someting else cheaper and better. For what this program can actually do and the way it’s structured, it’s incredibly overpriced. Stay away.

    Seriously this app is good to use but your not updating it and there is some issues going on. I can’t save or select a different folder to save. Im required to save as a untitled then must go into finder rename it and move it which is a serious pain!!. you can’t updated yearly or how ever your doing it.

    So you can have some way to judge this review, I am a software engineer and hate software that doesn’t do what you expect and the way you expect it. This app was perfect for what I needed. I had to splice together several pieces of hi fi music from multiple sources including FLAC, AIFF plus some MP4s (best available clips). Without much of a learning curve I was quckly copying in clips from multiple sources, bookmarking them, labelling them, comparing them, normalizing the volume levels (hadn’t thought about that, but noticed it on the menu) and exporting the product to the format I wanted (AIFF). I was pretty impressed.

    I used to use Cool Edit Pro 2.0, before it became Adobe Audition, and WavePad is quite good in comparison. Great for anyone who needs to quick and easy edits.

    I had it installed as demo from developers webpage. It seem to work fine. so i decided to purchase from App Store, just to fine out that it wont open the file i was just working on in demo. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Licensing doesn’t work properly! Cursor flashes. Obviously the person who gave this 5 stars didn’t actually use it. This is the kind of software that makes me very wary of buying from the App Store. - No refunds! I just uninstalled it - this money was wasted. I certainly won’t buy anything else from NCH in the future!

    This app is a total waste for the money!! If i would have known that it only takes in MP.3 format and not MP.4 like almost all of iTunes!!! I would not have bought this app
