3 years later, push notifications still don’t work.

Worst brand in camera systems. No improvements or upgrades in last 4 years.

This app never works properly! It literally always only show a few of the views if any at all most times. There isn’t a way to do an update or a refresh! This app really needs an overhaul considering the importance of being able to see what’s going on at your home at all times! Which is made nearly impossible which defeats the purpose of paying for a home surveillance system/app!

When the last time you were updating the software ? 5 years ago ?

From a consumer standpoint and comparing with Ring and Blink camera system apps I’ve used in the past Amcrest needs to totally refresh their app to compete. From video loading issues especially if you are not connected to WiFi to just UI/UX ease of use the Amcrest Pro app leaves a lot to be desired. Buyer beware.

It uses a scrolled timeline that I guess has green on gray where the recording is. What a stupid choice of colors. Green discrimination is the number one most common color blindness issue. I can barely see it. But anyhow a timeline is tedious just give me a list of dated files like the web ui. I have one camera why is it always showing me the four video view. It knows i have one camera. The doorbell app is perfect, can I add this camera there?

Really poor app with no intuition what so ever.

“Playback” no longer working for either one of my Amcrest cameras as of summer 2024. Don’t waste your time or money on Amcrest cameras or their now abandoned software.

No contesta, es demorado, las cámaras dicen unos servicios y cuando uno va a instalarla no cuenta con los servicios es decir: voz y audio, las cámaras son de mala resolución. Y la app no conecta siempre, no tiene grabación continua, mala resolución realmente es perder el dinero

Just started having this issue recently after years of having these cameras . I can’t toggle between turning push notifications on and off . They just stay on and I have to turn them off on the entire app in my phone settings. This app works okay if your security needs are not high.
