Always signed out and it’s not recording anything! Just takes pictures of people.. please fix!

This app constantly signs off, leaving you remembering and typing your credentials when need to use it in rush. This behavior blocks you from responding and checking your doorbell in time, making it useless when you need it most.

This system works well. It’s inexpensive at sets up easily. You can use it without paying for the service.

If you don’t pay attention constantly you don’t realize it’s often not giving you the benefits you’re paying for. I pay for an upgraded version were I should have access to all movement for 7 days and I’m very often missing footage. It’s THE BIGGEST pain to contact support about this. You need to take your cameras down and get your serial numbers and verify your birthrights (obvious exaggeration but not really) before they will even help you and then it’s a huge thing and you still don’t get your missing footage.

I have 3 Amcrest cameras that I’ve used for years, I finally upgraded to mesh WiFi but now that the network name has changed I can’t get the cameras to connect. 3 Amcrest cams, 5 Amcrest apps, nothing works.

Not sure why but it only works with my floodlight cam but not my indoor PTZ IP cams. Seems kind of ridiculous that I’d have to use two separate apps to view/manage my Amcrest cameras, especially given that they are all IP cams.

I was going to start purchasing Amcrest cameras exclusively, but my primary requirement is not being tethered to third party services, or the cloud in general, for basic functionality. Amcrest is getting greedy and wants to keep you reliant on them, so they removed the ability to access thier newer cameras without their little app. It’s so frustrating, because it’s a completely engineered restriction. There is no other reason for requiring it. Back to Reolink I guess.

Spoke on phones for an hour with rep. Passed me onto their technical reps. Had me describe in detail my problem with new camera. Had to document version and my process in setting up camera. Once they viewed my info they want me to load the lastest version of app, which they knew I already had. No response

Does not work with my Amcrest Smart Home cameras I have two of them. Will not scan bar code. Tech support says waiting for Apple to come up with and update. This is B.S
