2 out of 125 questions were actually in the Prepware

Took my ATP Multi written this morning. After 15 hours a day for 5 days of studying ASA Prepware for my test, there were about 2 questions that appeared on the actual test. I’ve always used ASA with near 100% accuracy for all of my written. But until this morning I hadn’t needed to take one since 2016. I’m not sure what has happened but I wish I had read these reviews. I could’ve easily used something else. I was lucky to pass with an 86 but it took 2 hours and fortunately I’ve been flying for years and could answer most of the questions. Do not use this app.
Not sufficient prep

I took my ATP ME written test today and even though I went through all of the questions in ASA’s bank multiple times and had scored well on the practice test, more than half of the questions on my test today were not in the ASA database.
I’ve used APA test prep for Inst. and Com. and was happy with it, but the dropped the ball on ATP.
P.S. I passed my test so this isn’t an angry “I failed and it’s your fault” kind of review but rather a warning for others.
Don’t waste your $$$. Use Sheppard Air

I have found multiple errors with this product. When I emailed them to the publisher’s CFI, here is the response I received, “I’m not really sure I can look into it.”
So, there is no support from ASA, and the questions are dated and erroneous. While the app was only $10, the book that goes with the app was $50. So, for $60, I’m totally on my own with ASA, and if I have a question, there is no help. Sheppard Air was ONLY $5 more, and they have 24/7 support and a much more current database. Sheppard Air also has a 100% money back guarantee if you do not score at least 90% on your exam.
I strongly recommend against this product and recommend Sheppard Air as a much better alternative. Thank you for your consideration.
Not the best

If you are ok getting just above the passing score then get ASA. originally I didn’t want to spend $75 for a test prep but after hearing from people that took the test with ASA and from others that took it with Sheppard air and getting mid 90s I decided to buy shepherd with very good result.
I don’t recommend

Some issues with saving your study sessions.
Doesn’t separate 121 and 135.
All questions in Study mode are random, you cant organize the questions.
I recommend using Gleim online or any other software
Failure App

Hi I have been studying with this app, but when I took my knowledge test I found some questions that I never read before here. I feel really frustrated with that.

Passed my ATP with an 89, I Recommend it

This app did what it was supposed to, helped me pass my ATP knowledge test with an 89 using only this app. It's easily worth the $10. I used it for about 10 days before the test and really tried to study through understanding the material. I liked the explanations to the questions and that it's a one time purchase right from the App Store with question updates regularly.
As for what could use improvement, there were 14 questions on the test that I didn't recognize. There needs to be a feedback / contact link right in the app to submit improvements and test questions after finishing. Also, after clicking an answer, the iPhone version should automatically show explanations under "Answer Choices". Currently you must click a button, a pop up shows, then you must close it, then click next. Repeated hundreds of times it's annoying.
For this ASA app, I was worried about the price and doing what I needed. But it worked! I think they should raise the price to $25-30 just to feel more legit, I would have been less hesitant to buy it, it's doesn't cost enough currently. Add another $5 if they add the section summaries like in the book and $5 for the ability to type in learning statement codes after taking the test to review all relevant missed questions.
While I passed, others I talked to in my airline class used Sheppard Air for scores in the mid 90's. However, Sheppard air seems like a sleazy company to me in part by requiring people to call in to pay for the app so they can get the benefits Apple provides while they circumvent paying Apple for it.
So I'm short, I passed only using this App, liked the updates, and would recommend using it.
Horrible descriptions

It's great for studying the memory items (the ones that are correct), but the descriptions for the computations are beyond horrible.
Some flat out tell you to refer to different question or another legend (why not supply that legend?) but provide no way to look up that specific question.
Provides no cheats or hacks that simplify the computations like other testing software.
Good Aid but very incomplete

The App gives you an Idea and some good sample questions to undergo your FAA written Test.
There are 1000 questions out of the regular 1500 and these questions aren't frequently updated.
The study modes reset once you leave your study session in the middle even if you follow instructions of locking your phone.
