  • What a disappointment - useless app

Didn’t realize the brand new sofa we bought the lights are controlled ONLY by the app. Could not figure out how to turn ON reading lights. Then stated reading the comments on this app and realized it’s the app problem. Looks like they have not updated this app for 2 years. So we are out of luck in getting the lights work. I like this sofa, don’t want to change the sofa just for the stupid lights. But this is crazy an app is didabling the features of sofa. They should have provided manual switches, easy to provide touch control lights.

Love the lights but only stays on for 1 hour pretty dumb! Wish there was a way to set a timer on the app
  • Shuts off after an hour

So dumb that the lights shut off after an hour. Most movies are at least 1.5 hours. Who in their right mind would think an hour is long enough for the lights? I think the problem may be in the hardware on the couch and can’t be fixed on the app. I had the same issue with the reading light not showing. To fix it you have to plug everything in on the couch in at once. If you wait to plug in the other plugs it will not work. Just put all the power plugs on one power strip and it should be good. Nothing to do with the app, it is a flaw on the couch.

Reading light is not in the app that loads. This is crazy. Looks like somebody else can be the gineepig for this poor thing. Not worth the time I have wasted on this third grade mess. Now this what to rate this misrepresentation. I give it a zero. Have to give one star to send message. What crap!!

I love this couch. But I hate this app. Unfortunately there are no switches on the couch. So when they updated the app, they forgot to include an icon for control of the reading lights. So they do not work until they update the app once again. The last update was a year ago. Something tells me they aren’t worried about it. I did see a smart comfort pro app. And tried it. Unfortunately it doesn’t see my couch so I guess my reading lights won’t work for the life of the couch. If I had to do it again I would purchase a Valencia Tuscany couch.

App needs to include ability to turn on or off the read lights...it shows for the app preview but then doesn’t show up when loaded. When will this be corrected? I’m going to return unless I get an answer.

Why has the developer or anyone not responded to the complaints from the app. I have had this over a year and barley use the lights as the shut off after like and hour. I should be able to set a timer or just leave them on all the time. Should also be able to group multiple items to turn them all on to off at the same time. This is just dumb in this day in age that there is so little control. Please please open this up for someone else to write an app or fix it.
  • No control for reading lights

The app is a cool idea, but why couldn’t they just put a couple of physical buttons in play for the reading lights and cup holders. (Even the memory would have been nice) Hell... make the cup lights touch sensitive. Not difficult. Just got my sofa and recliner today. Everything connected and worked through the app fine... except for the reading lights on the sofa... which have no controls available in the app. The exact same models in the store had them available, but nothing here. Also... the cup/chair lights seem to be on a timer. Not sure how long it is, but this needs to be selectable and controllable. Whole point of having them is to be able to navigate my way to a drink in the dark. Kind of pointless if they turn off mid way through a movie and I have to pop out my phone with the super bright white background to reenable them. Right track, poor execution. Ultimately I’d really like to see them open up the api and make this controllable through smartthings or Alexa, etc... would be nice to hit a single button on my harmony remote and have everything light up and move to the preferred viewing positions.
