Description

If you are looking for a personal finance app that is convenient, easy to use and at the same time has enough features, then Debit & Credit is the right app for you. • All Accounts in One App Keeping financial records was always a bit of a hassle. But now you can actually enjoy it. See all your accounts in one place and switch between them with one simple touch. • Integration with Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Apple Savings Get your transactions from Apple Card automatically imported into the app. Debit & Credit will help you to automatically categorize them using import rules. • Super Fast Creating a new transaction now takes a matter of seconds. It has never been easier with gestures and other features that we developed for you. And we will never require you to make dozens of unnecessary taps to accomplish simple tasks. • Locations (Geotagging) Shopping frequently at the same place? Save its location to record expenses even faster. You can also get a list of saved payees sorted by distance. • Budgets & Scheduled Transactions Do you want to budget expenses on a particular category? No problems. Do you plan to make a transaction in the future and want to be reminded about it? Consider it done. • Financial Plans Plan ahead by creating a financial plan for the next year. Compare your performance against it and see your future net wealth. • Reports We believe in clean, crisp reports that are easy to read and understand. See where and what do you spend your money on. Other types of reports are available too. • iCloud Sync We will never ask you to create an account or provide any personal details. All data is stored in iCloud, it is not available to anyone except you. • Shared Accounts Do you want to share some of your accounts with someone else? No problems, you can share selected accounts via iCloud while keeping other accounts private. Great for managing family finances! • Bank reconciliation mode Sometimes we all need extra help to keep our accounts in shape. You can easily reconcile your accounts with bank statements in the app to eliminate any disparities. • Importing data We know how important it is to be able to import transactions from your financial institutions. That's why we support CSV, QIF, QMTF, OFX and QFX files. And you can also choose which particular transactions to import from a file, something that not all financial apps know how to do. • Color Themes Eight color themes are available for selection in the app settings in case if you want to customize your experience. • Watch App Create new transactions on the go with the Apple Watch app. You can also check your budgets and pay scheduled transactions with it. • Powerful features Split categories, pending transactions, URL schemes, file attachments, transaction tags, Siri, Touch ID and Face ID support, printing reports and saving them as PDF files - all those and many other features are at your disposal when you need them. • Mac version of the app You can download macOS version of the app on the Mac App Store. It has even more features and syncs fast with the iOS companion via iCloud. Some features are limited to premium version subscribers. Premium version is an annual subscription. • Charged my card without approval

When I first installed the app, there was no notification that there was an initial fee. So I continued with the install. My install was initially declined. I thought this was odd (I only have apply cash setup for the payment method due to this issue) so I used a debit card. Install completed. Immediately following, I got a call from my banks fraud detection department wanting to know if I authorized a charge from apple for $9.99. I did not. Card is now useless. Great. I had another debit card on file and it was also charged $8.99. That one went through, but I will be contacting my back first thing tomorrow morning to dispute that charge. Awesome. A 2nd care rendered useless. So far this app has tried to collect almost $19.00 for what? And no, I did NOT sign up for the premium option for a charge of $19.99 (or whatever it is) per month. I only installed the basic supposedly ‘free’ app. And this is why my better judgement said not to authorize install if it was declining my Apple Cash.

In an era of financial integration with competitor apps, Debit & Credit still stands strong. I’ve been using this app for years and I can’t help but revert back to it. When integration fails in other apps and when their monthly fees are increased, this app won’t let you down. It is your electronic pen and paper budgeting app that has the features you need without the bulky and cumbersome bells and show ponies other apps offer.

I use the Apple card often so having my purchases and payments automatically copy to this app so I don't have to do it manually is a big time saver!

We’ve tried many apps to keep track of our finances. This one tops them all. Super easy to use and I love how easy it is to reconcile every month. Highly recommend!
  • Such a great app

Been using this app since 2018. It’s an awesome app, perfect for what it needs to do, beautifully designed and just great to use. It is my only tool for keeping track of money; I have like 10 accounts in it or something, and wouldn’t know what to do if I didn’t have this! It just blows all the alternatives out of the water in my opinion, I like having to put in transactions, it forces you to engage with your spending and results in much more accurate records than those other ones where it tries to connect to your bank or whatever. You can set it up with your accounts and whatnot in whatever way works for your brain. Just great 10/10 app and easily worth the yearly subscription. Only “complaint” is I feel like the reports could be more customizable.
  • Siri Shortcuts are broken

I tried setting up a Siri shortcut to create a transaction. Not only does the shortcut not work, but it won’t let me edit the shortcut without entirely deleting the account.

All looks good with this app. Just hoping we get the option to see reports by categories so we can check how much we’ve spent in a specific category let’s say (Eating Out). It’ll be nice to have that function

Just became a user and this is an awesome app. I’ve used others and by far this is the most superior. Looking forward to being a customer for years to come.
  • Need date range view

The app works great and has many features. However is missing the ability to choose a date range to veiw data by day, week or month or probably a custom date range. Also there should be a way to re arrange transactions by dragging them. But the time stamp does not allow that. Sometimes we do not imput the transaction in real time and that is throws us off when reconciling transactions. Thanks!
