This is such a help for older folks like me, especially, to jot down pending tasks and be able to get right to them and delete them when they're done. Makes for truly orderly living. Thanks!

For daily reminders that occur to me as I work, it’s great. Dependable, intuitive, and simple. I wish it had a function to repeat reminders but you can’t have everything.

It’s simple, uncluttered, and easy to use. I keep my list on my computer and iPhone that way I have it wherever I go!

I use the app all the time. It’s great for quick notes to myself. When a task stays on the list too long, I move to a To Do program.

For something so elegantly minimal, its new task dialogue is needlessly busy. I wish there was a preference option to disable the default notifications-upon-new-task behavior.
  • Pure simplicity

It’s simple and not elegant but that’s just what I need for quick, daily tasks. Sync between iPhone and desktop seems to be nearly instant. I’m using it as a replacement for Cheddar, which I loved but just became too buggy after awhile. So far SmallTask seems super stable.

I’d searched for an app just like SmallTask for a while—something very light but still easy to use. It fits both criteria perfectly. Moreover, it works perfectly with the companion iOS app, which is wonderful. The only tweak I’d like to see is a badge notification on the desktop version like there is on the mobile. It’s possible it already exists, but I’ve not seen it. A number on the app icon indicating the number of active items to do would be extremely helpful.
  • Really bad application- do not waist your time and money

This is a really bad application. I suggest that you do not waste your time and money trying to use it. It will be better just to use a word processor or data base to keep track of your own projects.
  • Simple, but could be simpler.

It would be great to have the following 2 things: 1. Option to set default to no notification (otherwise notifications must be disabled for each task). 2. Allow for changing the order of tasks already listed. I was hoping to use this app for a To Do list when I came into work in the morning, but it needs just a little more.

I've entered tasks and they have simply disappeared. Too bad because the format is nice.
