  • Unusable

I recently had to reformat my Mac and installed this plugin to replace the desktop application. This extension is basically unusable. I reformatted my computer about 3 days ago and every time I try to use this app, I have to completely uninstall it and reinstall it to get it to work. It works for maybe an hour, then stops functioning all together. When it does work, half the time I have to be logged into the website to even get the extension to initialize, otherwise it’s just blank. I used this extension with no problem on Google Chrome, but I’m trying to move away from that browser to use Safari more but more and more I feel like I’m going to have to go back to Chrome just to get stuff to work.
  • Dropped Mac Desktop App?

This was a really bad move, as other reviewers have pointed out. I am going to start researching a transition to another password manager that offers full Mac support and which provides a customer service hotline for troubleshooting. This is the last straw.
  • Does Not Work

This new app is terrible. It does not work, so now I am forced to use Chrome. Not sure why LastPass chose not to support the Mac platform or apps, but this is terrible.
  • Troublesome functionality hinders doing business

Switched from LP for Mac to this clunky thing for Safari. Lost capability to locally cache and edit. Requires vault login on line. Most of the time I don’t want to take that extra step, I just want to log in to a selected site, do my business, and move on. This clunky thing forces me to log on to LP to access my vault, complete MFID with an authenticator, (sometimes several times before I gain access) then search for my selected site credentials in the vault, log into the site before I can do my business there. Not much help to me and surely not an enticement for me to sign up for the premium version.
  • Safari extension for Mac

First of all, I am not renewing LastPass. Safari extension for Mac is absolute joke. iPadOS and iOS are solid with independent app, but macOS user should avoid LastPass or migrate to something else.
  • Worst App Ever

I am stuck with this bummer of an app as it is too much trouble to switch to a new pw manager. There have been so many changes to this app since I started using it. Terrible GUI. No consistency of when it will work and when it won't. And it is not working right now. Buy another product. This one is a lemon.
  • No longer Mac app available

I have been using this app for several years and always enjoyed it but with the new Safari only version, you no longer have the Mac app and that means you now suddenly no longer have off-line access to your vault. Absolutely horrible, I am a premium user but will be switching to another password manager shortly.
  • Bring back the Mac desktop app

This “Safari” solution for macOS is terrible. Bring back the desktop app. Fortunately I didn’t follow your rules so on one Mac I left the desktop app and it seems to work fine while the Safari app exists, But I took it off of two Mac’s and now can’t get it. Have been using LastPass for 12 years.
  • Poor transition to new interface

The new extension forces me to use a browser I rarely use. To log into a site, I need to switch to another browser, which is a cumbersome workaround. While I hope this change will lead to more features in the future, it's currently a step backward in terms of user experience.
  • Duo Prompt Not working

My company utilizes Duo for 2FA and I’ve noticed that the LastPass extension fails to send a Duo notification. My current workaround is to login to Lastpass site and this logs me into the extension.
