    I use the app every week. A while back I started using the favorite shopper feature. It’s great but it keeps disappearing on the app. It’s very frustrating to not have the ability to schedule with a favorite shopper. They understand what I need. Help center doesn’t help. They respond with, “not everyone gets that feature yet.” It doesn’t matter that I had it before. There seems to be no way to escalate an issue. Please fix the app so that I can schedule with my favorite shopper. Favorite shopper feature keeps dropping off my app. It’s frustrating. This has been happening to me for the past 8 months! Please get it corrected developers!

    I’ve given instacart many chances but this company is changing so much for the worse! They email me promos every day, so I figure I’d place an order .. once I have everything in my cart , the promo goes away .. I call customer service and they said they sent out the promo in bulk and whoever claims it first gets it and after a limit they discontinue it (I literally got the email 5-10 mins ago). So basically they lure you in to create an order and once that’s done they cancel the promo and you have to pay full price. Nothing they can do , and they out source their calls to another country which is a BIG language barrier . Other orders I’ve placed in the past has shoppers who deliver that shouldn’t be hired but I guess they don’t do any type of background checks or common sense tests. I’d prefer to use Shipt or Uber delivery from now on. Officially unsubscribed from instacart and won’t be back!✌🏼

    I put a grocery order in this afternoon and spent more than 7 hours attempting to get it to my door. Their customer support assured me that a shopper was getting it multiple times and then the store closed and the order failed. For this failure, they offered me a $5 credit on the next order which doesn’t even cover what I already paid them for delivery. When I asked to speak to a manager, they put me on hold. It’s been more than 40 minutes and I’m still on hold. Super disappointing. If you’re unable to go to the grocery store, do not rely on them. Instacart is broken on many levels.

    Tried this app to save some money. Couldn’t even complete an order because the app refuses to add certain items do disallow discounts and savings. What a disappointing scam couldn’t even get 1 order. Back to DoorDash I go. Wasted time and effort trying this app.

    I love Instacart, as it has evolved over the years to be an excellent shopping and delivery service from various stores in my area, with so many to choose from. The shopping portion of the app has improved so much in terms of options, previously ordered items, capturing deals at various stores, etc., etc. with Lots of options for replacements of items out of stock, and options to cancel and reschedule deliveries easily. The delivery service is usually good but when perishable items are involved, different carriers provide much different results in terms of keeping items protected from damage, either by over stuffing bags or not keeping temperature fragile products cool enough, especially when frozen items when thawed become toxic to the body. I have actually gotten very sick from using items nearly thawed and Instacart guarantees items will be temperature controlled and do offer refunds but the time and health impacts suffered as a result are not worth the refund amounts because of the cost of time and extra fees for duplicate orders of the same items, let alone the cost of suffering symptoms of spoiled food. I rely on delivery service so I appreciate Instacart very much, but the inconsistency of carriers not only in their quality and consistency of service, but also there are some carriers that actually do not deliver themselves, but seemingly use ineligible employees, perhaps illegal, delivering for them and these unofficial unregistered carriers often do not even speak or understand English at all.

    Been a customer for several years, I’ve had so many theft issues. The driver will clearly take the order to their house or a friends. I think it’s incredibly stupid to show tips beforehand. I always tip after a service has been provided and that’s how it should remain. The fact that you have to tip in advance and have to cross your fingers for your order picked up is absolutely stupid. Drivers shouldn’t be allowed to pick and choose like a bunch of cry babies. Either be a delivery driver or don’t. I think the tips SHOULD NOT be shown in advance. These entitled kids shouldn’t be encouraged with this bad behavior.
