I purchased this years back for the pro version. And when I tried to use it today it has the water mark and no features.. asking to upgrade to pro again? It’s a great app but why did this happen?

Let’s just clarify that this is FREE with a WATERMARK. It’s no different than any other app that you have to pay for it to remove the watermark to use your phone as a WebCam. Was told by an Elgato sponsor that this camera set up was free. That is false information. It is free with a watermark and that should be specified when sponsored. Seems like a way to just get a quick download. And that makes you look good.
  • USB Disconnects

Wanted to love this as the elgato hub app is pretty decent. Unfortunately after around 40-50 minutes of video via USB it’ll start disconnecting randomly. Seems to happen every time I’ve used this, which doesn’t happen at all on the same IPhone 15 and same usb c cable. Hope you can fix this annoying bug.

Does nothing. Pc app has zero support other than make sure bonjour is running. Windows 11 and Apple iOS 18. Good thing I didn’t pay for it.
  • This app continually worsens

Started off pretty free but wanted sound, so I upgraded to pro. They took away the sound feature, so had use an external. Every time I connect to stream, it’s always a shot in the dark whether it’s going to work or not. We need more consistency from you.
  • Free Version refuses to connect

I’ve tried on numerous occasions to get this app to function, including toggling the permissions on and off, toggling the WiFi on and off on both my phone and my PC, installing iTunes and Apple Devices from the Windows Store, disabling the firewall (even temporarily), and connecting via USB. None of the methods I’ve tried have resulted in any success of the free version of the app to work. And if the free version is this dysfunctional, I’m not going to count on the paid version to work either.
  • I already bought the ‘Pro’ version years ago.

How can this company justify downgrading the previous ‘pro’ users… adding a flippin watermark and then trying to sell us another more expensive ‘pro’ version. This is not right. Useless, scammy tactics, and a waste of time.
  • Can’t keep it connected

Worked great the first time I used it. Very easy connection to my PC. Second time I tried to connect I could not no matter what I did. Too bad because the first time I connected, it worked good. I have uninstalled it.
