  • Been using this for 10 years.

The app is extremely slow or delayed in its response. Starting and stopping play specifically. Along with station changes. I update regularly and have a suitable internet connection. It’s just really annoying when you stop play, close the app, and the Sonos speakers are still playing. Then I have to open the app, WAIT for it to load, hit stop, WAIT for it to stop, and then close the app. Sonos is the only app that I use with this fault.
  • Still Terrible

Playlists stopped displaying, can’t search. Just very frustrating.
  • How many years is the app going to remain broken?

Playlists stopped displaying a long time ago. The library is just a long list of blank lines. Speakers themselves still sound good even after nearly 15 years. Sonos though has abandoned its original customers.
  • Disconnects all the time

Lately every time I use Sonos I have to go through the arduous process of reconnecting all the speakers first even though I use the same WiFi network each time. This is time consuming and frustrating and there is no customer support for a permanent solution.
  • Always disconnects

Randomly disconnects and continues to play music and I have to walk around trying to find it again to connect to stop it.

Still the gold standard for home audio
  • Easy access

It allows other apps to access the Sonos speaker. It gets turned on, and control to be taken over by others. And at times plays radio, and tv at the same time.

We have older Sonos speaker, and the support for them is non- existent. Back when we purchased them, it was very expensive for us, but we thought we would have them almost forever. We do get them to work, but not very well.
