  • Great game that could be even better

Very well designed, fun card game with a solid UI! Another hit for this developer. In short, there are 6 gods and 10 cards per god, but only 6 of those 10 cards are randomly selected for each session. Some cards are great scoring cards; some are not. In a game where the sole objective is to chase a high score, you won’t get a high score without the great cards — but you have no control over whether they get selected and you won’t know until well into your playthrough. Hence, you end up wasting much time playing sessions where you simply won’t score high as you lack the great cards, and eventually you quit playing. I wish the developer would allow a player to select which set of 6 (or more) cards to play with — that would keep the game interesting.

I wish more developers would think outside the box like this one. This game is intriguing, fresh, and oddly peaceful. I love the concept of these strange gods working together to create some kind of celestial harmony, at least that’s what I took from the design, the game doesn’t really have any kind of lore and allows the player to make their own assumptions. This is not a deck builder, it is a pseudo card/puzzle game utilizing the same pre built deck every game. The main objective is to activate 6 crystal pillars and beat your high score. I will admit this game is not for everyone and there is a moderate learning curve that may throw some people off. There’s some nuance and critical thinking required. I adore this game! There’s something about it that makes me say just one more game, just one more game. Very satisfying stuff. I feel like this developer is on the cusp of creating something truly great, don’t stop making these sort of innovative puzzle games!

i like this game. i’ve gotten to the point where i understand the concept and the machanics and genuinely enjoy playing. i have purchased the extra cards and enjoy the added cards… when they show up. another thing is that i’ve noticed some cards don’t hold true. the card that is supposed to hold the deck at a -1 refresh cost when locked is not working. i would also agree with the assessment that the cards and elements are a little bit unbalanced as some elements are abundant and some are sparse as well as card powers among elements. i think the additional cards are nice but i could definitely use more expansion and a little more clarity and continuity between the elements and their power ups.

like any good card game, it takes a bit of time to get the hang of, but it’s worth it. it’s free with zero ads, and i bought the extra cards because this is such a good game! i also play MM :)

This game is beautifully crafted. I always get bored of mobile games after a day or two, but I’ve kept coming back to this over weeks and weeks. Great music, fun dynamics, interesting concept. I never even leave game or app reviews, but this takes the cake and I just hope more folks discover this game. Thanks for building this gem of a game!

Just discovered this new game, and it’s awesome. In fact, it’s now my favorite tile-placement game I’ve ever played. It’s a super fun solo card game. The UI is intuitive, the design is gorgeous, and I love the color/art aesthetic. The tutorial is well done. You’ll probably need to do it a couple times, and play the game a couple times, before it all clicks, but you will figure it out. It’s a great balance of strategy and luck. Good for casual gamers as well as those who get into deeper strategy. I immediately bought the fair IAP to unlock everything and support the developer. I’ve played several of his other games, and they’re all good, he always designs them well and keeps them updated and monetizes them fairly. I heartily support developers like this. The only thing I hope is improved is battery optimization. Even with all effects turned off and low battery setting turned on, it still uses more battery than it should and makes the phone a tad warm. Hopefully this can be improved. It’s not horrible, but it uses more battery than his other games do. Still, I highly recommend this game. It’s one of the best game apps I’ve ever tried. Thank you developer!
  • Beautiful, overly complex

In all honesty, I downloaded because the concept and the art are really good. I got halfway thru the tutorial and uninstalled. This seems like a really great game for people who want to memorize complex rules and relationships, but it’s very much not a game you can play while you’re doing anything else. Even just the tutorial required my full attention and that was railroaded harder than the Industrial Revolution. Would recommend to anyone who wants a game to really sit down and commit time to learn and to master.
