Please dont do me like all the other apps i am stuck with adobe and i tried curve it was totally awesome thought i found what i needed when my small file finally saved without pixelating. Then i was about to cancel my adobe and i went to draw on curves and well it crashed repeatedly. I already see that this is insane trying to even select an object the way i get it done the fastest but still crazy slow is select all objects then it lets me select one maybe sometimes kind of. But the price for it sounds good. If i decide to buy this is it going to be crashing like everyone else says? I have issues enough have spent enough money on apps that dont work ive been through tons of them in the past few days I haven’t gotten anything to work right and i just want to sit chill and do my editing because it keeps me calm when this stuff happens im super not calm. I could go insane. Please dont do it.

I use Affinity Designer every week on Mac. Selection tool is marginal at best. On iPad it is awful. I may have to tap an object 6 times or more to get it to select and it will always grab the wrong object and if I am not careful, shift it out of position while I am trying to get it to select what I am tapping on. Really almost unusable. I will continue to watch videos to see if I am missing some selection secret. Thank you for reading.
  • Almost Great. Still needs some fine tuning

This app seems like a great, cheap alternative to Adobe Illustrator and Fresco for vector art, although it’s not easy to figure out which icons do what. It took me a day of googling and watching/reading tutorials to learn to do very simple actions that are far more intuitive in other apps. The vector brush stabilization options are a bit awkward to use. I would HIGHLY prefer to have adjustable stabilization without the need for the rope and window stabilizers, like in Fresco, for more precise brush use. I also wish there was a vector eraser instead of having to use the knife tool. I like using the vector eraser to clean up some lines and shapes. It gives way more control. The knife tool is awkward. Cropping a canvas down to a smaller size or expanding it without affecting the artwork is also pretty awkward. Why not just let me make a selection around the artwork and hit “crop” for a more precise selection that I can preview, like in most drawing apps? All in all, good job so far, but I do look forward to getting some useful updates & improvements! I wouldn’t mind paying for those improvements if it helps fund & speed up the process.
  • Need pressure sensitive vector brush

I use the vector app only for this one purpose, vector brush. I need the pressure sensative vector brush so I can have a natural feeling of drawing like in Fresco and Procreate. Also most important part need an additional smooth option beside the rope, the natural one like procreate and fresco. That's the most convinent one. I like the app if only I get these two features I don't think I have to go somewhere else for any part.

The latest update broke it. It no longer opens up.

My biggest complaint is that the interface isn’t entirely intuitive for those of us who have used Adobe products, or competitor products in the past. While I haven’t delved deeper, it feels like the interface is a little inconsistent. It was a little frustrating, trying to figure out where, or how to even get help on where certain tools were in the menu, or how to perform certain actions that seemed very easily done in Adobe products. If something seems unintuitive, don’t expect onscreen hints to be of any value. This app has its own conventions and figuring out their user interface and tool implementation was occasionally frustrating. Their onscreen or in-app help was mostly useless. You had to go to YouTube or a Google search to get any real useful information to help you get unstuck. Get past all of that, and the capabilities, utility and value of this tool are unsurpassed. There isn’t anything Adobe Illustrator can do that this tool can’t do. There is not a better substitute for Illustrator on an iPad than this app - at a fraction of the price WITHOUT a subscription!!! Buy the app with a one-time lifetime license price and you’re not on the hook for or limited by anything. And you have all of the capabilities of Illustrator. It is my no. 1 iPad tool for vector graphics.

After different iterations and IPads, I have come to the conclusion this app crashing is not a bug, but a feature. Save often.
