This is the new app for ECOBICI, Mexico City’s public bike system. ECOBICI’s evolution has begun. You can now access more than 9k bikes and 687 state-of-the-art stations. Just plan, unlock, and ride. With the ECOBICI app, you can: - Choose a plan, or switch plans - Find stations near you, and check their bike availability in real time - Easily unlock a bike at the port - Enjoy unlimited 45-minute rides - Get confirmation after successfully locking a bike - Review your ride history - Easily link your MI card ECOBICI connects with the Health app and sends ride durations so your pedaling counts towards your health goals. ECOBICI is ideal for short rides. It also lets you communicate with other means of transportation. You can find bike lanes on the map, and just go places easily. Enjoy your ride!

  • App doesn’t work all of a sudden

    I ride Ecobici every day. All of a sudden the app isn’t working at all. It takes me like 10 minutes to be able to retrieve a bike. I have my location services on, I paid my phone bill. It’s pretty frustrating at the service is otherwise very good. Please redo the app or undo the update you recently did ! It’s taking forever.

    The bike stations have horrible issues reading metro cards and QR scans. Mostly in the mornings.

    As a tourist, I can walk and walk all day, but having the bike lets me choose to shave a few kilometers or more off each exploration and lets me see more of this beautiful city

    After a few days in CDMX, we tired of the nonstop traffic congestion and downloaded this app. We rode Ecobici for 2 days totally liberated! The app was great, albeit a bit slow sometimes, but gave us all the information we needed including available bikes, available spots for return, location of the bike lots on a map, etc. The service was overall great - the bikes, aside from the brakes, worked well and the lot locations were conveniently and generously located. Overall, it was a great service! Integration with Google maps would be icing on the cake.

  • Account suspended and customer support is terrible

    I paid for a year. Suddenly they suspended my account without telling me a reason. Help center is an endless cycle of robot menus and there is no way to speak to a human. Terrible customer service, waste of money.

    Tried entering two credit cards at signup and got “something went wrong on both of them”. No alternatives provided (Apple pay??!!)

    I was in a pinch with traffic so downloaded this app to hop on a bike and move a little faster. However, the bikes didn’t work and everyone trying to unlock bikes at the station were not able to. Since I didn’t use any bikes I asked for my money back and was refused.
