It charges you $38 a month. I thought it was a one time fee. What a rip off!
  • App needs work

Wanted to love this app. It doesn’t track all the steps I take and sync with my Fitbit tracker. It routinely “misses” all my activity (recorded perfectly on my Fitbit app) and therefore does not reflect my true activity. Has no option to manually adjust—so then it feels punitive when it reflects missed goals and inadequate information. I sent emails and specifically addressed the issues, but mostly was met with auto responses or messages requesting “specific details”—which were already provided. Introductory membership only. Did not renew, especially at a much higher cost. Not worth it and it’s already a waste of my time. Hopefully they improve the app.

I really like the concept of the app, but the inconsistencies with connecting data is mildly infuriating.

WalkFit Company was the most gracious and empathetic company I’ve ever dealt with. Due to an unexpected fall and broken bones, I had to request a cancellation and refund of my payment to them. Everything was handled extremely quickly and professionally. I rate this team 10 out of 10. God bless each of you, Terry

Good app, but once you pass the initial challenge, it really needs more workouts to choose from.

Just to be clear, I’m not using this application because of their business practices. I don’t know if the actual service is good or bad. I saw an ad from them on Instagram for a 2 week workout plan for $15. I purchased it. A month later, I got charged $38. I wasn’t aware that I had purchased a subscription. I cancelled it immediately and asked for a refund. They said my request is against their refund policy but they can give me one year of subscription for free. I went back and forth a few times until I realized that their customer service emails are automated. Then I found out that their yearly subscription on the App Store is $30 a year. They were going to charge me $38/month which is over $350.

I have tried so many exercise apps and though I just really started, this feels like one I can stick with!!

I love that I have a step goal and that there are plenty of ways to meet it. I personally like the free walk where I have to hit the step total they have set as my daily goal. I like watching the percentage ring get closer to 100 as I go. The downside is that despite wearing my Apple Watch, I still need to carry my phone in order for the app to recognize my steps in real time. The app syncs with my Apple health and incorporates my steps from there too but not from my watch during the Free Walk itself. The other aspect I don’t like is that I can’t listen to my music at the same time as using the app. My step goal right now is only 3000 so that’s not a big deal but as I increase, I’d like to be able to listen to music or a podcast while completing my free walk exercise.

This program is attainable. It allows for a challenge, but not so much that it’s overwhelming for beginners. Get the app! I’ve worked out every morning for two weeks straight now, and you can do it, too!

I like the app. Good workout for older women. And since it is on my phone it is available to workout whether I’m at home or traveling. I have 2 issues. I did the January 28 day challenge. Completed the workout for each day. Even got the little message “workout completed” at the end. But if I look at the calendar view most of my rings did not close and give me full credit. Calendar view also said I took 2 rest days when I did Not. Having completed first challenge I looked for another challenge and selected one. However on Home Screen I cannot see a way to start the new challenge. I’ve enjoyed the workouts but not the app so much. I will be shopping for a more user friendly app.
