  • Beware of auto-renew

    Beware of business practices with this company. They do auto-renew that doesn’t show up in the iPhone subscriptions. I canceled today immediately after seeing that they charged me $66 for a 3 month renewal. My original 3 month trial was much less than that. I was informed that there is no refund available and that it didn’t show in my iPhone subscriptions because I ordered it on their website. I believe I followed a link from social media when purchasing. I still had to download the app, so I’m not sure why it isn’t billed thru iPhone. Disappointing. My fault for not reading more carefully, but I don’t want anyone else to lose $66.

  • AI Driven — do not waste your time and money

    This is a terrible app. You are being guided by AI robots, no humans. Instead of saying “cat/cow,” it says arch your back, round your back. It uses no yoga terms. The videos also skip relentlessly. At one moment you’ll be asked to sit down on your heels but 1 second later you’re supposed to be standing — of course it doesn’t say “mountain pose.” It asks you to stand with your hands by your side. It’s truly just awful.

    Great app, the workouts have been great so far. Also, I wanted to make a couple of suggestions: • If the routines had a more meditative ending, just 30 sec to 1 min, that would be awesome. They all seem to stop abruptly. • The “Move It or Lose It”-type messaging that comes up on each workout summary is kind of antithetical to yoga, and more appropriate for CrossFit or spinning type programs.

  • Terrible renewal policies

    I had canceled this subscription last year. Last night I received an email stating I renewed for the year. I canceled my account and asked for a refund. While I was canceling, they offered the service at 1/4th the price they charged me. They are now refusing to refund even though this is the “renew” date and I am stating I do not want their service. They quit responding to email inquiries to request a refund.

    Company is crooked and refused the promised refund on a technicality. WELLTECH APPS LIMITED responded to your review of Yoga-Go Pilates & Home Workout WELLTECH APPS LIMITED "Hello! Thank you for reaching out. We understand your point and are sorry you got such an impression of our service. Our Terms of Use and Refund Policy are always available to users during the sign-up and before the checkout. If you have questions, please contact us at [email], and our support team will be happy to help you." Regarding your canned response above. I signed up for a trial membership on a flight and did not run your terms and conditions by my attorney. It was a $15 charge. I have already cost your company much more than that in email exchanges with customer service personnel and your response above. Just because you can possibly keep my money, doesn’t mean it makes good business sense. If you had refunded the $15 on the first or second request you would have had my good will and I may have tried another one of your fitness apps and recommended your company to friends. I will be happy to discuss further if you reconsider your ridiculously rigid position. I mean come on. It’s $15. After much back and forth, my concerns were never addressed.

    There is no Support Team for this App and it is difficult to Cancel. I have written complaints to the Support email about billing and they are unresponsive. It is virtually impossible to cancel the app subscription. It can only be canceled in the app not in Apple Subscriptions. By the time I figured out how to cancel, I had already been charged. I have tried reaching out to the App’s Support email but have not gotten a response. If signing up for a free trial, I would simply avoid if at all costs. You will be billed and it will be difficult to cancel and it will be difficult to contact someone on the support team to request a refund. I did not receive a notice that my free trial had ended and that o would be billed. I have written the app’s Support team but no one has responded. I would like a refund. I am very disappointed in the App.

    They are just out to get customers who sign up for trial and hope they forget to cancel before they realize the app is garbage so they can charge a ridiculous fee for a renewal.
