    Got the app since there were no maps at the gate, but the app’s map is nigh unusable! Everything is a tiny logo that looks just like the other ones.

    It’s mostly just a bunch of stores and restaurants very little to actually do. NOT worth the hype. I recommend going to either Santa Cruz ca board walk six flags or Santa Monica. Preferably Las Vegas myself.

    I planned this trip for my family of 5 because my son was being deployed to Japan and I wanted a nice last family vacation. On the website they had ticket deal for general admission and Halloween nights for $159, but it would not let me purchase 5 tickets. So I bought 5 express line tickets and spent like $1300. While at the park I ran into an employee who was asking how we were enjoying the park and I told him about not being able to purchase 5 tickets for the Halloween nights deal and he apologized and said that he would go with me to guest services and he told the girl behind the counter to give me the deal for the Halloween nights and she said ok, he left and she was having trouble upgrading my ticket and another employee walked over and she says I can’t upgrade her ticket and the guy says no, you can’t and said if I wanted to do Halloween nights I would have to pay $105 more for each ticket. Why did she not bring up the other guy who told her to upgrade my tickets? We still made the best of our trip before he left

    When we purchased the online tickets from the App it showcased all the rides in the park. When we arrived we discovered many rides were either closed or were delayed opening due to repairs. From 9:00am to 11:30 we literally did nothing as we went from ride to ride to find out it was not open / in use. Around noon some of the broken rides began opening up but because so many rides were closed, the visitors were channeled to them with resulting wait times of an hour or more. It was “false advertising” when the App describes all the rides but the day of the visit they then inform you that the rides are closed or broken. When buying tickets the site does say “No Refunds” which is not a surprise as Universal Studios Park would be losing lots of money if otherwise. As with most parks the concessions are insanely expensive and the portions are small. Parking is expensive. It is not worth the money or the aggravation! There are many other attractions in LA worth your consideration.

  • Worst Experience Ever at a Theme Park

    Inconsistent messaging. Unsafe, security guards not paying attention multiple people walked through setting off metal detectors at gate but guards were too busy talking and screwing around to notice. Rides constantly breaking. Just awful.

    It’s the best app because of it shows me the wait times for the rides and the Hhn mazes when I’m not there.
