I filmed a session as I typically do and it has failed to upload. I’ve asked for help for four days and no customer service. I’m not only losing my session but also am paying for premium and can’t record more. First negative review of any app! Really bad experience!!!
  • Great Idea but Not Geared for the Weekend Player

The video function is excellent but if you sign up for the Semi Pro version you don’t get the full functionality of the video: no line calling, being the most prominent example. So for a person that plays , say, twice a week and had no need for the Pro version, you end up getting short changed. Also, the video can’t be seen on anything other than an Apple browser. Despite instructions stating that the video can’t be seen on Chrome, it can’t. On Chrome, the audio plays but the video is a dark screen.

Really cool technology. It’s crazy how accurate it is. Videos come out in great quality, and the all the stats are great to look at afterwards. I wish the swing stick was a bit more stable hanging on a fence. It’s quite stable when put on top of the fence but when put into a fence hole it’s a bit unstable. With the video processing and stats this app makes it easy to truly analyze your game and see how you can improve. Great price too. Would recommend for anyone who’s trying to improve their game at any level

I signed up for SwingVision a few months ago and it was going great. All of the sudden the last two sessions my watch says it is recording but after two hours of hitting I check my phone and I’ve got nothing!!! There’s a big bug in here…

Just started using SwingVision about a month ago but I have to say I’m thrilled with the immediate results. Having the opportunity to see myself on court really highlights the areas of my game that need the most work. I think its greatest asset is that it shatters perception and allows you to live in reality. For example, I thought I was really starting to “hit out” or get full extension on my ground strokes. They really felt like they were starting to groove. After seeing myself on a coupe ball machine sessions and then a match I saw I was still keeping my elbow too close to my body and “t rexing” my strokes. I’m currently working on changing that. This is the type of thing that SwingVision allows you to see proof of so you can make definitive changes to your game! Good luck to you all!

I love swingvision so much because it gives you accurate feedback of the shots you are hitting and the placement. Not to mention that it is extremely easy to set up. I love going back and being able to watch rallies between me and my friend.

It’s amazing but the cost is absurd. It was over price at 100/year then it went to 120/year & I was like ok but wow. Now it’s 180. Foh

I had such high hopes for this. The app isn’t compatible with iPad so you’re stuck with the tiny screen to edit everything which would be fine with the software is better. First I do want to say that it’s an amazing idea and the video quality is excellent. The AI processing is downright awful. I’ve recorded about 6-7 hours of plays now. Every single video that was processed cuts out at least 1-3 rallies. Even adjusting the setting to include 2 seconds before and after, the rallies are cut extremely short. There’s no points tracking on the pickleball side at all so when it cuts out 3 rallies you don’t know the scoring or what happened. Sometimes rallies that are sectioned out includes footage from the previous points so it ended up duplicating. If you want to include all of the rallies, you’d have to manually adjust every rallies. When you have to sit and edit 150 rallies, what’s the point of the app. Might as well do it manually or just watch the entire thing. So awful. I can’t believe it costs so much money.
  • New paywall Removed

Update 5/1/25: The paywall I previously complained about has been reversed. I’m back to checking my shot stats… A small joy to help tide me over while I wait for my next tennis session! Updated this app today, and the shot stats previously available in the free version are now behind a paywall. This feature was the only thing I used the app for, so now it’s completely useless to me.
  • Good idea but needs serious development

App constantly has issues. Over 1/2 of the uploads have issues, get stuck and yo have to restart/fiddle with over and over. UI is not intuitive. It easy to see status of uploads, or to clean up local video. Watch has to be on same version or they won’t support any issues. Several times the watch says it’s recording, then you find out the hard way it didn’t record at all. Has happened many times. Speed accuracy is off many times - far off. Line calling also not reliable. You can’t ever view raw video through app, only processed. Sometimes you want to see something in between points and you can’t. Support is very slow. If you ask them three questions you will only get one answered so you have to ask over and over. And it’s like pulling teeth to get that one answer. Cost is too expensive, especially if you don’t use all that much. Then if you don’t renew every year, you lose all your videos unless you down load the raw video, would take hours.
