So I’ve been using this daily for over 3 years.
It’s fun and I enjoy the games and humor like an activity. But the accuracy compared to other apps is off. It almost never aligned with other apps.
My real biggest issue prompted me today to review is the failure app streak. So i do open this every single day. Maybe in the 3 years i actually missed once. But for example today i opened it for a second time and it insulted me saying ive not used it in a week. Total bogus and it knows it.

Ever since Dark Sky was bought and deleted by Apple I haven’t found a satisfactory solution to finding an accurate replacement. While Carrot is definitely more expensive, nothing else compares to it in terms of value and versatility. The best feature (if you pay for the premium version) is the ability to swap between sources. For example, if you notice Foreca isn’t typically accurate in your location then you can switch to NOAA or Accuweather or something. I only wish there was an option to view multiple data sources at once so you wouldn’t have to keep swapping between them to see what the majority are saying. Other than that complaint, if you don’t mind paying a little extra I’d say it’s worth recommending!

i have used this app for 258 consecutive days and i get nervous if i think i havent checked the weather. definitely the most entertaining weather app ive found ? sometimes the weather from its automatically sourced app (foreca, i think) isnt the most accurate, but it usually is close enough.

I am thrilled that Apple weather is available for carrot weather. Since Apple purchased Dark Sky. Which in my humble opinion was by far the best weather prediction app. / service. Now Apple weather is. I love this app and that you’re able to have real time radar on the watch. When I’m out hiking or running I don’t always bring my phone. The radar is critical to me in those situations.
