  • So glitchy.

This is probably the most glitchy app I have ever tried to use. I am so disappointed that I paid for it. It’s not even usable. Every single day I have to re-enter the 5 saved water amounts. I will tap the 20 oz one and it will put in 350 oz. and tell me I’m done drinking for the day. So frustrating. Not convenient at all.
  • It really works!

Before the app I drunk above 700-1000 ml every day, now I do 2000 ml daily🙈 but it's important to use notifications for this result.

  • Minimal and Powerful

In a sea of hydration tracking apps, Watercheck is one of my favorites, if only for the minimalistic interface and the ease of entering data. It usually takes only one tap to record a drink using one of five preset volumes; a swipe is all that's needed to vary from a preset or change the liquid type. The app is one of a few that has a Today widget or a Watch app. Using either makes data entry even easier. My wish would be for actionable notifications, so I can quickly record a drink when I get a reminder. Speaking of reminders, you can set a daily time period to be reminded, as well as an interval, and choose to have reminders stop after you've reached your goal; I would, however, like to be reminded only when I'm behind in my daily progress. Your daily goal can be set automatically based on your weight (with Health integration), but the app doesn't take into account your activity (except as set manually) or location (for temperature). Using both would make the daily goal more accurate. History is limited to a line chart and you can't edit or delete entries (the app does have shake to undo); worse, Watercheck records to Health only once a day. This means you can't even check your Health dashboard to see your progress. Oddly, there's a setting in the app to reset your progress each day — I can't imagine why you would not do this. I hope some of my suggestions to the developer will come to pass, but so far they've been unresponsive to my email messages — not a particularly good sign. However, the app is currently supported, according to the App Store listing. By the way, two additional apps from the developer — Watercheck Black and YourWater — are available; the only difference between the three appears to be the icon on your home screen.
  • Two Way Health Integration

This is the only water app I've found that accounts for 2 way integration with health. That is, if I add water in a seprate application it will show here... Turning on apple health is a bit tricky as there is no obvous indication on the settings screen. The option was under goals. The only thing I would like to see added is a complecation so I can track water consumption from my watch face.

I love the notifications screen entry widget and the app integration with Apple health. I like the different size beverage glass icons to choose from. I also like the in-app tracking of my goal met that turns if the reminders. I would really like a visible history within the app with a date/time stamp when fluids are consumed. And, a selection on the widget to change from water to tea, etc.
  • I didn't use to drink water, now I do

I got this app because my water intake was incredibly low, (probably around 40 oz a day intake). After seeing this app I downloaded it excitedly and have used it ever since! It does a great job of calculating your water intake, super user friendly, hooks up to apple health, and the UI is incredibly sleek. My only suggestion is that it would be nice if you could customize the icon shapes of the drink containers. Otherwise, great app and I'm happy that my water intake has increased dramatically.
  • Enjoy!

Easy to use, helps me track all the water I need. Seems so simple, but it was impossible for me to do before this.
  • Great tracking app for those with a busy lifestyle!

While I love drinking water, I find that it's more difficult to remember to drink water due to my busy lifestyle. I like that this app allows you not only to track your water intake and see your progress towards your daily goal but the ability to set hourly reminders really has come in handy. I also enjoy the interface of this app. It's very user friendly and easy to add water intake into the app.
