    This app is terrible. It took me about 2 weeks to finally get an account made without any “technical issues “ and you also are unable to upload documents.

    This app is useless. The status is incorrect. I cannot enroll in text notifications. And it is impossible to upload a document. I am uninstalling this from my device

  • Why even have the app?

    First off, Face ID login doesn’t work, not the end of the world, but why even have the option available then? Second, can’t even chat with a Unum rep. Third, can’t even put an absence in for FMLA on the app anymore, as the claim that is open, doesn’t even show up when trying to add the day, but it shows the closed FMLA claim. If I wanted co call Unum to report things, I wouldn’t have downloaded the app.

    I’ve tried everything over the past few years to view my documents online, both via the website and via the app. I try to log in to the app, and I am told there is no account with that email address, so I’m asked to register. I go to register, and I’m told that I already have an account and need to log in. The website is no better. I log in successfully, at least, but then am told that my account requires assistance. This has been an issue over multiple claims, and while tickets have been issued, Unum fails to actually get either online option to work. I have to call for everything, and I have to make a special request to have my documents emailed to me directly. The lack of IT support and follow-up with the customers is truly horrible.

    App is not useable crashes almost instantly after signing in. Impossible to use at this point.

  • The Unum App like the Company is the worst.

    The Unum app does absolutely nothing. Any claim you file, any email link from Unum shows no claims, and no files or history. Unum much like their app is a gate keeper designed to keep you from getting your disability.

    This app and website could not be worse. It’s almost like they make it so impossible to use to avoid paying you. I’ve had to jump through these hurdles with multiple baby leaves and it is a complete nightmare.

    I cannot view any documents that I’m able to view on the website. It’s also stating I don’t have any claims on the app.
