    It’s a great software until you have an issue. Has also grown to a size in which their contractual obligations outweigh their customer service procedures. Had an issue recently in which an employee overpaid nearly $1,000 for extra users that weren't in use for us. We rectified as quickly as possible. Housecall was only willing to rebate $90 of the $1,000 that was lost. Our employee swears she wasn’t aware of the proper procedure by which to add and remove users from both their use in the system and from billing. Whatever the case, Housecall opted to make the extra $900 rather than take care of a 5-year customer. We are also a SuperPro customer and have basically every full service they offer, including a price guide. In truth, the software is fine, but beware of their customer service. As the company has grown, the service and their willingness to quickly respond to issues has dwindled, and is shameful. I’m looking forward to the day we outgrow it and move onto Service Titan. If you can make due with a cheaper software, which is more personal and still fits your business, I recommend doing that. Once you’re signed up, you’ll be trapped. Regardless of a month-to-month agreement with no contract, our entire business hinges on this software. Removing and replacing would take weeks, if not months with more time still needed for us all to adapt. All in all, I do like the software, just not the people behind it anymore. Josh

    I use the mobile app which works fine but the desktop app for my Macbook NEEDS WORK. HCP please fix this. You guys are great everywhere else but this app is important and we dont like working off our phones all day. Thanks!

    After the last announcement, photos taken horizontally on the iPhone camera are not loading correctly, the photo is visually compressed and becomes smaller. Please fix the situation, and then I will give you 5 stars!
  • Proficient but notifications can be intimidating

    After using the app for several months, I t works very well and I like it, but there needs to be a way to select what types of notifications you want to receive. When the office is scheduled jobs my phone will buzz and ring for thirty minutes which is obnoxious and in front of customers can be embarrassing. If I go into the settings and turn the notifications off entirely I get a warning message on the screen every time I open the app. All I want is to be able to select which notifications the app send my phone, because I don’t need the “a job has been scheduled” notification and it gives me anxiety how persistent it appears

    I spoke to Andrea, she is not willing to help us about our concern. I called today at 2:30pm. Tone of voice is very rude. End up fighting and hang up. Not a good representation of your company.

    At 2 may 2024 I have a payment from my costumer for appliance repair. Provide this payment by credit card through HCP processing. At December 25 cx makes refound without discussion with me. I receive a dispute notice from HCP, submit all paper what costumer signed( invoice without warranty for costumer). And text with costumer and post screenshots with conversation ( costumer after 6 month just want to buy a new one… and just want refound for repair…). Result? HCP make this refund for costumer and charge me for repair amount. Thank you so for your best service, you grow up costumer extremism. Closed all businesses with you

    I believe I was one of Housecall Pros first users 10+ years ago and I’ve stuck with them since. HCP are always upgrading the app with new ways to make running your day to day business tasks easier. I can’t think of a service business this app wouldn’t work for? I highly recommend it
