On first launch before I even got to try it out it asked for a rating. How stupid is that!
  • VERY inaccurate.

According to Cal AI, a stick of gum is 75 calories, 4 strawberries are 900 calories, 1 slice of pizza is 600 calories, 1 pickle is 100 calories, 100 grams of ground beef is 800 calories, the list goes on. Also according to the app, I'm supposed to eat more to lose weight, and eat less to gain weight. Huh?? In my opinion the amount of flaws inexcuses the high cost or any cost at all. Like someone else said in their review -- I thought I was getting a deal by getting a yearly subscription, and had they provided a free trial, I would have cancelled immediately after, knowing how inaccurate this app is. Yes, it's AI, it's not 100% accurate, so why are you charging people so much? Again, others have said this in their reviews and they are correct in saying this: it would be completely fine for this app to still exist as a free service, and with the full disclosure that it is highly flawed. I'll close with the fact that there's no support phone number, so I've messaged the official instagram account with receipts and they told me to "mkae sure [my] internet connection is stable" without providing me with a refund. Basically, 50 bucks down the drain. Please y'all, just use myfitnesspal or just weigh your food. I often ask chatgpt for macros, might even be more accurate than this app.

the convenience of logging meals through photos and tracking progress is incredible. Being reminded to snap a picture before eating has made me pause and think twice before grabbing something to eat. This app has been a game changer for me, making me more mindful of my meals and helping me eat properly to hit my protein intake enough to gain 5 pounds of muscle . It’s much simpler than using weight watchers or similar tracking apps. I absolutely love it and would recommend it without hesitation. Definitely worth the cost!

As soon as I paid for the year service the app has started malfunctioning. It wouldn’t even load. It seem like a good idea but it doesn’t work.

A lot of these reviews are inflated! The app asks you to rate and review as part of the setup process before it told you the $9.99/month cost

It’s a great app honestly it’s super simple to use and the picture feature is like 95% accurate. If the picture isn’t accurate you can just describe the food so either way it’s good. Even if it’s a bit off it won’t really matter much. They just updated the app so it has widget feature and shows you all the days you’ve logged your meals so that pretty neat. I say it’s better than fitness pal

You are unable to see how much totals of the macros you’ve eaten for the day, it only tells you how much over you went. It does not show serving sizes or how much is even in a serving when you add it. I requested a refund. I did like how you could scan your food but that’s about it, could use a lot of work.

I paid for the subscription so I could use this app. First off, as soon as I paid, the app froze and wouldn’t leave the splash screen. I then restarted it and it made me enter all the info again such as age, gender etc which I had already gone through. Then, it totally glitched with my calories and setting a weight loss goal of 8 pounds by April 2026. That’s 18 months away, what is going on with that? And the macros were all wonky. Finally, I tried logging a food. No matter what food I photographed, the app gave an error in processing the photo. Whatever AI it’s supposed to use obviously does not work. I asked Apple for a refund. As far as I’m concerned this app is totally dishonest and I’m steering clear.
