Very difficult to use, unintuitive where settings are located. The parent settings do not always sync with the devices, which basically defeats the entire point of the app

This is an app just for the sake of having an app. There is not anything that can be done on this app, which can't be done through the settings on the Amazon app. With both of them, you can't even do basic things like 1. Seeing how much screen time is remaining on each kids' profile, and 2. Adding more time for the day without going into the settings and adjusting the total time for that day going forward. Meaning if I normally give my kid 3 hours of screen time per day and he's being good so I want to give him just 30 more minutes for the day, I can't just go to the app and add 30 more minutes for today. I have the go to the day, adjust the total time for the day to 3 hours 30 minutes. I then have to remember to go back into the settings later to turn it back to 3 hours. Seems like common sense. Alas, here we are.

Functional, satisfactory, still lacks a key feature to give bonus time
  • Not intuitive

We’ve had a really difficult time getting apps connected to play on the kids devices and it doesn’t seem to be an intuitive parent dashboard
  • Unable to approve games

My child has sent me request for games to approve. When I use the app to approve them, I get an error. I have tried troubleshooting this for months to no avail.
  • Recents are ridiculous.

The recent feature at the very top is bonkers. Trying to clean up and create more storage is a constant struggle because apps that have been uninstalled are still visible to my little.

I get emails for my kids requests but then when I get on the app they aren’t there
  • More restrictions needed

It won’t allow you to block videos entirely or block an entire channel of videos. It forces you to block videos one by one. This is frustrating considering this is already an additional subscription not a free service. It doesn’t seem worth the monthly fee to me and I won’t be continuing my subscription.
  • Parental controls annoying

I’ve spent a lot of time having to individually deselecting what shows they can watch. Would prefer if I could have an unselect all option. Being able to have more customization of the Home Screen would be nice too. It’s Pandora’s box at the moment and isn’t want we’re looking for as parents.
