I added my first rock to my first collection, and when I tried to add a second, I got a pop up that said: “ONLY FOR YOU Limited Time Offer 33% OFF This offer expires in 55:11 Over 5,000 types of rocks Unlimited rock identifications Infinite rock collections Just $29.99 $19.99 per year (less than $0.05 per day) Auto-renewable. Cancel anytime.” This happened every single time after taking a picture of the SAME ROCK, five or six times in a row, before I just gave up trying to add the second rock. Well, it was worth a shot, I guess

I took 4 pictures of the same crystal and got 4 different answers.

I decided to use the free trial for the upgraded version of this app and all I can say is I’m glad I can cancel it and won’t have to pay $6.99 per week for an app that claims to identify gems. It keeps telling me that my images are too small or if the image is high-quality it tells me it’s blurry when in fact, I know it’s not because I had the pictures taken semi professionally with an actual camera. I also know what some of the gems are for sure and the app keeps just using the same jam name for any photo I use so obviously something is going on where the App isn’t properly identifying gems.

I really like it! It has info about the rock in your photo!

Why should I pay before it can be proven that this app is correct? But now even the so called free version doesn’t work. Pay monthly for this, no way!

This is free and does a decent job

I love this app for its simplicity and accuracy

I was primarily using this app to check a couple bracelets that I recently got gifted to me and to test his app. I also used a couple of my crystal towers and my crystals. I know what they are and it could not identify what these crystals were. In one case it identified my black obsidian as a lava stone, in another instance, it registered my petrified wood also as a Lavastone, which it’s not obviously. Although this is a great idea for an app, it is not recommended for those that may be looking at different rocks or metaphysical purposes. I also was a little disappointed that the descriptions of the crystals don’t list the metaphysical properties each crystal can have and what healing properties they can have for example, I also tested my pipestone bracelet and yes, it goes into detail the history of this particular stone, but it also doesn’t mention that the stone is used to bring a person out of chaos and into serenity

This rock thing looked great and all, but I’m sorry it doesn’t do anything at all. I kept trying to identify them and was taking the photos but this subscription thing kept coming up and when I said cancel it undid all of the work and I never even got to see the types of rocks. 👎
