This app is advertised as free on the App Store but the second you open it you’re hit with a full screen subscription trap with no visible way out. There’s no X no skip no back button just a seven day free trial that’s basically a ticking time bomb set to charge your account the second you forget. It’s not a free app. It’s a bait and switch hustle dressed up in App Store polish. And don’t get it twisted. This isn’t some UI oversight. The developers knew exactly what they were doing. Instasize used to be free with optional upgrades. Now they’ve buried the free version behind a paywall disguised as a mandatory trial and if you’re not looking close they’ll finesse that charge right out of your pocket. They even used to make the exit button the same color as the background. Pure manipulation. This isn’t poor design. This is predatory design. If more people stood up to companies like this they’d think twice before pulling these greasy tactics. But until then they’ll keep betting on people forgetting to cancel and bleeding accounts dry one free trial at a time. Delete. Report. Warn others. Do not let this slide.

Apparently even though I’ve had this app forever, you can’t even resize an image without paying for a subscription. Really dumb since I rarely use this app and just wanted to resize a picture. Which I thought was the point of this app

Absolutely love this app! It’s perfect for re-sizing your best photos.

this has been one of my favorite photo apps for years, like 8+ years. but in the last couple years it got really aggravating to use due to it asking you to pay for premium every time you clicked a button. this app used to be free and now you HAVE to pay $70 a year to use it. i deleted it and im very disappointed. they lost a very longtime user
