  • Nearly Impossible to Cancel

I tried multiple times to cancel this app through the App Store and through Todoist, even reaching out to customer service for assistance multiple times. $50 dollars later, I have finally disputed the most recent charge and gotten Apple to cancel the subscription. I wish there was a “pause subscription” button, because that’s all I needed… I’m so frustrated with the lack of help and insane cost that I don’t know how I could trust using this app again. Goodluck if you try the “free” trial… this would be a great app if customer support would have actually offered support.

Have literally never written a review for an app before but this one has seriously improved my life! Similar to using a bullet journal but much much easier. Would highly recommend for unorganized adhd folk who have lists scattered around different notebooks or the iPhone notes app.

I really like the function of choosing different projects and being able to have reminders to stay on task. I wish it had an alert or an alarm that attached to my iPhone to give a loud audible alert.
  • Powerful features but manageable if you don't need them

Needed to move on from the dysfunctional Microsoft To Do with worse-than-non existent customer support, because, well, it was free and you get what you pay for. Todoist is easy to get started with a list and shared lists so my husband and I can assign each other tasks or keep a running grocery list to avoid last minute texting to get this or that. As I got more comfortable with it I've started using more advanced features. Very happy to be paying for a good product instead of being frustrated for free. Thanks!!!
  • Best Note Taking App on Apple

I have tried all of them and this is the best for both the free and pro versions. The desktop app is just as good on windows.

I love this app so much! It's great if you want to just use a to-do list occasionally, or really deep dive into all the features they have. There is a subscription, but I just use it free and it still works seamlessly. The major features are free so it's okay. It is also completely free of ads 🙏!! The creators of the app must have a good sense of humor because some of the descriptions and emails are kind of hilarious. Highly recommend!
  • Not for me

I like mostly everything it’s a bit complicated but that’s life, I don’t like how you have to pay for something thats already on your phone like deadlines and more then one notification I feel that’s what might make people go to other apps or just stick to their phone pre instead app. Regardless it’s a well made app and few things that I needed but just wasn’t there, so not for me but I can see how other would use this

I am a to-do list monster. I have tried them all, and todoist tops them all. I love the functionality, the projects and categories, and the fact that i can have it on my phone, ipad, windows pc AND linux machine? NONODY’s doing it like her. Usually I dont like software that doesnt offer a one-time-purchase, but I don’t feel pressured at all to subscribe, because the free plan does everything I need and more. Todoist, at least for now, is The One.
  • Great for school

Honestly, this app is great for me. As a freshman in college, I struggle with remembering deadlines all the time. Calendars, reminders, timers, or anything of the like didn’t work for me. I had no clue what I could do to remember all the assignments I have to do and I installed this as a last ditch effort. It turned out to help me a lot with how easy it is to set up a task, there’s reminders, tabs, and even a calendar. Honestly one of the best apps for school if you struggle with remembering things not just for school, but in your everyday life.
