    After months of glitch free reading, suddenly today I am forced to login, but my regular password is not accepted. The phone lines are jammed.
  • App doesn’t work in IOS 14

    What is going on? I upgraded my IPad and now the e-paper app no longer loads.

    It does not work. It is balky at best. What a waste. It tells my connection is too slow (which it isn’t for all the other news sources I subscribe to). I then read the epaper online with the same connection.
  • Who's watching the store?

    This app continues its long, and perhaps never ending string, of being the worst app installed on my iPad. It is very inconsistent. On some days, you tap on an article and it comes up, as it should, in full-screen mode. On other days, nothing happens. On those ‘good’ days some articles will go full-screen when tapped, but others will not. Today, the app crashed and when restarted, I was asked for my login credentials. Despite entering them correctly and doing it a number of times, the app says the info is incorrect. I logged into using the same userid and password, and was logged in with no problem. Why can’t the people who manage this app get it right after it being so poor for so long, as evidenced by the many poor reviews that have been written? Does anyone at the Globe read these reviews? If they are being read, why aren’t those people doing their job to improve this app, or are they incompetent?
  • Decent enough but article view is hard to read

    The app is basically fine so far but the article view is hard to read on bigger screens. Can you add some margins or, even better, allow to customize text width? It would also be nice if the font size would be remembered so I don’t have to adjust it for every article. Perhaps both of those could be customizable in persistent settings?
  • Annoying scrolling/swipe issues, touchy screen

    Not a new issue but has always been a problem. I’ve had a subscription on and off for years. When I touch an article to open it up the problem begins. As I scroll/swipe through the article it suddenly jumps back to the top of the page, over and over. I’ve asked others if they have this problem and no one has said yes. I read on my iPhone and iPad and this happens on both devices. If there is a solution for this I would like to know. Thanks.
  • Copies my clipboard every time I open!

  • Very poor and outdated

    This app is an embarrassment. When you click on an article frequently the IMAGES DON’T COME WITH THE ARTICLE! References to interesting articles within the edition that are highlighted on the first page are “dead”, i.e. when you click on them, it doesn’t take you to the article! This can’t be that complicated or expensive in today’s high tech world.

    One of the worst apps ever. I regret that I even considered downloading it. I even tried to change my to receive my subscription into my email inbox like I always had before. The main problem is with trying to get help from the individuals who don’t know or don’t care about whether or not the customer is receiving the news source which I originally was happy to receive. I know that everyone is having problems with everything because of this pandemic. However enough is enough for the continuing excuses for that reason! For the first time since I purchased this news source I am now subscribed to other news sources that I don’t have any problems with at all!
