There’s a glitch AMC’s system (both the App and the Website) where seemingly random titles become unsearchable A title that is definitely still playing in the area doesn’t get displayed when you search for the title on the AMC App or the AMC Website. You have to look it up on Fandango to find out what theater it is playing in, then go back to the AMC App or AMC Website to buy the ticket. One Friday, you couldn’t search for *Strange Darling* (on both the App and the Web) even though it was still playing in a local AMC Theater and it was still searchable on Fandango. The week after, *How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies* was not showing up when you searched for the title in the search bar, even though it was still searchable the day before, and it was still playing in the same theater it was playing in the day before. Then the next week, I bought a ticket for *Look Back* on a Thursday. The very next day, on Friday, I wanted to check how crowded the theater was, but I had to look it up on Fandango because *Look Back* was no longer showing up when you searched it on AMC. The next week, *Stuntman* was searchable on Thursday but disappeared from search results on Froday. A few months ago, the same thing happened on the opening weekend of *Problemista*, even though a week before it opened you could search for it on AMC. These are just recent examples I know about. It’s happened to me several other times. This probably happens every week with different random titles. On the AMC App, when you type the (incorrectly unlisted) title, the movie is simply not displayed in the list of results. On AMCTheatres.com, it’s even more confusing, because the title is displayed when you search for it, and you can click on “Get Tickets”, but it incorrectly says, “Sorry, no showtimes found”. But if you search for the title on Fandango or MovieTickets or Atom Tickets, you can find out which AMC Theater that movie is playing in. You can then go to the AMC App or AMCTheatres.com, click on that theater, scroll down to the title and purchase the tickets.

Can’t purchase movie tickets or make account

Refused to refund cancelled tickets back to my gift card, $30wasted so I won t attend this theater again
