Readers of The Record have been forced to use the NorthJersey app. It is unlike reading the newspaper and not an enjoyable experience.

The old app with the green R symbol was much better then the new revised North Jersey app the replaced it. The new app constantly crashes and has to restart while trying to read the E-edition newspaper. Plus ads com up and you have to wait for a period of time before you can close them and resume reading the paper. It is frustrating and terrible. FIX THE NEW APP!

I started writing a review, the window disappeared. Font on main page is too small. I found how to enlarge the articles font. Too many articles are on first page. Which is the news of the day? Clean up the layout! (1st day of reading new format). My app doesn’t look like the PREVIEW above? Reviews are from 5 yrs to 12 + yrs ago!

The Record’s local coverage has improved significantly in the last couple of years.

The app used to be better. I’m simply trying to suspend delivery for vacation and can no longer find the link. Using the magnifying glass to search, only goes to articles. This is so annoying!

For years, NorthJersey.com was the least responsive, clumsiest app I used. And now they made it worse! As a delivery subscriber, I want to add a vacation hold, but can not find the page. For my privacy, I tried to limit cookies, etc, but had no options except Allow All.

I am a subscriber, yet the app only lets me save a maximum of 10 articles. That’s beyond ridiculous!
