Switching between two languages and then using speech to text doesn’t allow the switch to happen. I was use English first then switch to Spanish it will keep it in English. Speech is terrible even for native speakers because the app does not recognize proper pronunciation.

Update: several years later and still NONE of these issues have been resolved. Overall, the app is quite good. However, there is still lots of room for improvement. 1) Offline translate, isn’t. Download and install French and it still requires internet access to translate even common words. 2) Real-time translate is absolutely useless. Any very slight movement of the camera causes changes in results making true translation impossible. Image import is far more useful. 3) Definitions for translated words are given in the original language with no option to then copy/paste the definition to understand what it says. 4) Real time speech translate is useless. It is far too slow to keep up with even a slow speech pattern and then times out after only a short period of time. Any spoken words are then lost to the wind in the time required to restart the translation process.
