I was hooked on the Atlantic a decade ago when I read an article describing in detail the process contributors use to verify facts, sometimes using 2 or 3 references. I understood then how important an objective fact is. It has only become more so now. I deeply appreciate the depth and breadth of coverage.

Alexandra Petri is here and is on fire.
Good articles large banner ads but ads make it difficult to read.

The articles are insightful and well-researched content with excellent writing. The large banner ads, surprisingly present even with a paid subscription, makes it uncomfortable (nuisance) and difficult to the eyes while reading. Will reconsider subscribing if the banner ads are removed.
Glitches

The games section has been updated and ever since there are many glitches. Games won’t load and the crossword keeps deleting everything and I have to start over. Hopefully there is a fix to this.
Good read but …

Would benefit from more balanced coverage of the Middle East

Have had no problems with this app. It’s a small thing, but I especially appreciate how it always remembers where I left off on an article, making it easy to pick back up where I left off!

I can’t say enough how good it is to read the Atlantic articles . The articles are well designed , and relevant to our daily life struggles , especially at this moment in our country and the world , where the need and exerxise of real investigative journalism is at risk do to this authoritarian government. The Atlantic is pure excellence! And I am thankful for that as a enthusiast reader

A lot of the stories published ultimately serve the MAGA agenda subliminally, extensive support for Israel, and a lot of discrediting of more progressive policies / people. Anti DEI. I thought that the Atlantic would engage in better critical thinking, however, a lot of the pieces just end up reinforcing propaganda.
I really love think pieces, but it’s important to understand that it’s an OPINION and not news. A lot of the stories are artificially skewed one way.
I really appreciated some of their stories, but a lot of sprinkled $ making agenda, and anti progressiveness. Even with the variety of stories, I can’t help but to think that they all fall into one similar line of thinking and framing the world
Great stories, laggy app

My go-to news source. However, the app is constantly freezing and I am unable to scroll.
