It won’t show images on mobile app and difficulty syncing with other device. Please fix the glitch! Several error even after troubleshooting (reinstalling, deleting unused media). It won’t let me sync!

For a 25$ app it should not have this much trouble synching images

The app is great at what it does and the support it has for standard Anki decks. However, there are a few UI issues that are bad. The text on the cards have no margin left and right. The screenshots seem to show just cards that are center aligned, but if the card is just a paragraph it looks bad. In addition, there’s no padding on the bottom and the buttons cut into the corners. Usually, I wouldn’t mind too much about this, but at the cost of $25, you would expect these issues to be addressed.

i did literally everything to sync my decks from my laptop to the app and nothing worked. now all my money is down the drain for the crime of wanting to learn. you’re better off using noji, the app and website syncs automatically if you are signed in.

This app feels frustrating to navigate and a waste of money. Why are the free Anki imitations easier to use? It’s no wonder why the knockoffs are more popular when this app costs $25 and looks like it hasn’t been updated in over a decade, and the free versions offer better features. For example, when viewing all cards in a deck, the only option is to browse by the front of the cards only. Very tiresome when needing to sort through cards for language learning purposes when it doesn’t show you the translation as well. Why can’t this app display the cards’ front and backs simultaneously? Second, do the creators know that the free versions of this app automatically translate words into your desired language when you put them in new cards? For $25, why can’t this app do the same? This app does not seem relevant anymore. There are plenty of better alternatives out there for FREE. Please do not waste your money.

This app really needs the ability to merge decks without having to use a computer.

You need to be slightly tech savvy in my opinion to figure out how to get flash cards going, but once you do it’s great. Worth the price in my opinion if you are serious. Beats Quizlet in my opinion or alternatives, but admittedly I haven’t tried many.

Please consider this over certain ripoff alternatives which offer a flashier UI in exchange for all your data belonging to them. AnkiMobile requires a bit of getting used to, but you keep your cards and progress locally. Your account is only used to sync. That's worth the one-time license cost to me.

I have been using Anki for over 10 years, and this is maybe the best $25 I’ve ever spent. Using it is the single most impactful addition to any language study or more general learning goals; I’m now fluent in Chinese and Japanese and have a relatable tool anytime I need to remember anything. You do NOT need Duolingo, DO NOT download the “free” (actually hidden subscription) copycats, this right here is what it’s all about. I also don’t think it’s all that hard to get started, so don’t be intimated by reviews that say so.

Makes the process of learning actually fun and easy! I’m learning A&P right now in under grad and it’s so easy!!
