I’ve been using this app for a month and I really live it so far!

The app suddenly stop allowing me to listen some of the Turkish books. I live in Us and I have been using the app without any restrictions before but suddenly they restricted some of the book. I am paying the same money why my location is so important now! Ridiculous

Limited offering of books, but not too bad. However, don’t let them trick you. Tried to stop multiple times, but that is not possible in the app. Very annoying that companies still use these annoying tricks to hold on to their subscribers longer than they want. You can quit once you have logged on to their website etc.

Many titles say Not available in my area

After many years as a paying customer, i’m canceling my subscription due to the speed controls now maxing out at 2x. I waited a few months to see if they’d bring the speed back up to the previous max at 3.5x but it seems Storytel wants to minimize the number of books a customer can listen to a month. I find the 2x max speed to be extremely limiting, and trying to dictate what a ‘quality listening experience’ is to the customer instead of letting them decide for themselves is a joke. Back to Libby and Hoopla I go, and they’re free.
